When the grass courts are fresh then anything is possible.
The only thing that makes no sense at all is saying he wasn't injured. But I've given up on you making sense about this kind of thing.
You think injuries don't get worse, and then better?. They just appear from one second to the next in the worse state?.
Yes, that would been the general idea in 2012 as well............
Anyone who questions Nadal's injury is a hater.
Give Rosol his credit. He went up 2 sets to 1 while the roof was open and was giving Nadal a heck of a tussle on grass. As a matter of fact, Rosol was in a position to serve out the second set against Nadal in Doha.
If Nadal had won that match at Wimbledon, he would never have brought up the knee injury. He would've just played the next match and the next match. It's always an injury claim after a hearbreaking loss. Federer did the same to Berdych at Wimbledon 2010.
What I am saying is I don't believe in that Wimbledon "knee injury" story at all. Not for one second. Call me whatever you want, it doesn't matter.
Pretty much, yeah.
People with an ounce of class wouldn't think of saying that kind of thing about an athlete who missed 8 months from the tour.
I've never said anything like that about Fed's back, even though he didn't miss one tournament due to it. Or Novak's wrist.
He probably played the best match of his life. Rafa still had the match under control by the fourth set. And Rosol didn't manage to serve that set out in Doha, did he?.
I don't have to lie about this because someone thinks that would be somehow fair to Rosol.
Rafa didn't just "cite an injury". He was out for 8 months. Many people thought his career was over.
Btw, people should have a little empathy and think how would they feel had Federer had a nearly career ending injury and people would talk like this. It really says a lot about you if you can't.
Crisstti has Nadal ever just lost a match fair and square according to you? Where his opponent was simply the better player on the day?
Yeah, because you don't believe anything that doesn't fit with your worldview. Not because you're even close to thinking about this logically.
And because you lack any class too. You should at the very least admit you do NOT know.
Rafa didn't just "cite an injury". He was out for 8 months. Many people thought his career was over.
A lot of people said it actually.Nobody with an ounce of common sense thought that!
A lot of people said it actually.
A lot of people said it actually.
LOL at you accusing any poster of not thinking logically. Pure comedy and irony.
Do YOU know Nadal and his team personally so that you are able to be absolutely sure that everything they say is the truth? Please. Don't act like you are some intimate Nadal team member who has inside knowledge. You know zip as well.
All we can go by are the observable facts and to think that Nadal was seriously injured a few days or a week after his FO performance is ludicrous. Only a truly blind follower could believe that nonsense.
Federer heard it too
An unbelievable comeback. No doubt about it," Federer said. "One year ago, people were saying he might never play tennis again. One year later, he's world No. 1. That's how quick things can go in tennis, which is great."
"I'm really happy that Rafa's proved that you never write off someone like him,"

Interesting, the second time I've seen Fed saying he's glad Rafa's proved doubters wrong![]()
Actually I don't think it was so much that the roof was closed that hurt Nadal as it was the action of closing the roof. Nadal had just won the 4th set and was finally rolling in the match. But the long time it took to close the roof cooled Nadal's momentum and gave Rosol a chance to regroup.
Even though I am the biggest Nadal fan on this forum, I am a realist and realize what a tough draw Rafa has. I predicted Klizan would beat him but Rafa proved me wrong to my delight by beating Klizan by the same scoreline as their FO match last year.
But Nadal still looked very vulnerable for much of the match so I know Rosol will beat him tomorrow. It's terrible but it is better that I skip to the acceptance stage of my grief now for his impending loss. I hope Rafa can recover and repeat last year's summer hard court success. Rosol will win 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
Nadal would fight until the last point, win or lose. As his biggest fan in this forum you should cheer for him until the last point. The match has not begun and you already gave up
You are the one talking as if you know something you simply don't. I am simply going by common sense and a minimum of class. Not that I expect you to understand either.
It's been two years now and Nadal fans still hold the grudge and don't want to give Rosol credit for the win, but insist that Nadal was injured when he was not. Nadal was totally outclassed by Rosol, just he was outclassed by Soderling in 2009 FO.
No player is unbeatable.
Hopefully Rafa makes short work of this and makes a statement. Things will get a lot better for him after this match if he wins... 6 hours!![]()

those just don't count as losses.

i never said you were a fake excuse machine as the nadal is... and i sincerly apologize if took it this way !You know, some of us think they are every bit as legitimate as you do and have never made excuses right? That's one big paintbrush you guys use

(i know you don't think this way, credit to you for that... but lots of your 'church' buddies don't !!!)

Nadal is an expert at proving his doubters wrong, and Rosol isn't in good condition. The firm edge is towards Nadal.
Why do a certain number of Nadal fans continue to produce threads or posts as fatalistic as this one? Is it some sort of compulsion?
I don't have a source, but I believe it's true anyway. That was just my own opinion. Is Rosol truly injured? I keep hearing rumours, but nothing concrete. Where? Since when?
Rafa, of course, is never healthy. Knees, back, arse, SARS etc.
In 2012, Nadal's loss was at least partly due to knee issues and rainy conditions. 2014 will be very different.
