Yesterday at the miami masters open, joao fonseca showed the world that joao fonseca is absolutely no true all-time great because novak djokovic who is a true all-time great who is essentially two decades older than joao fonseca has a completely dominant positive head-to-head against alex de minaur whereas joao fonseca now has a completely losing head-to-head against alex de minaur.
We have been making nonstop excuses for the "next-gen" for over two decades and now is the time to stop making completely argumentless ridiculous excuses for players who completely underperform and do not reach the standard for what a true all-time great can truly do.
Completely regardless of "his legs", joao fonseca has already shown that he cannot reach the true standard of a true all-time great so rather than lowering the true all-time great standard, we must simply maintain the true all-time great standard and fully expect players on their own accord to actually meet the true all-time great standard before claiming that the "next-gen" are "all-time greats".
