I fear Nadal will lose tomorrow

Though I am the biggest Nadal fan on this forum (and probably in the world), I am fairly sure Nadal will lose tomorrow. I can feel the loss coming in my gut. Klizan is a tall, big-hitting left and Nadal's grass game has deteriorated too much the past couple of years. Nadal will have to play his best to have a chance but he didn't get enough preparation at Halle. Klizan will win 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. I am already crying thinking about it

You "fear" Nadal losing? I'm sorry but that sounds kinda sad to me. Don't you have more important things in life to worry about?

No. I want Nadal to succeed at Wimbledon again. He doesn't have to win the title but I am tired of him losing in the first week. It makes Wimbledon more boring to me too.

for me, i think the possibility that Nadal could lose makes that match more exciting to watch, unlike today's first round matches from Murray and Djokovic. They just totally destroyed their opponents.

It seems like an unintentional anti jinx to me. With that said Nadal seems to always have a pattern when it comes to losing matches at slams.

He only loses to people with high reputation (Djokovic and more rarely Murray) or someone with no name at all (Wimby 2012-2013)

Klizan has had some buzz to him so hes neither if you look at it.

and thats what he and his team want everybody to think, iv seen this bs way too many times, we all know whats going on.

LOL. I very much doubt Nadal loses tomorrow. Stop listening to all of these loons on this forum! ;) I will be surprised if Nadal loses to Klizan on grass. I think he will come prepared knowing that Klizan took a set off of him at the FO.

Nadal in four, maybe straights.

I'm in the top two of the biggest Djokovic fans on the board and I never fear that Djokovic will lose. I have better things to do than that. Relax man!

Nadal could lose the rest of his matches this year, and he'd still be the most talked about, loved, hated, and all around GOAT player ever. He won the French and his win at least one slam for 10 YEARS NOW is intact and will never be broken!

Vamos!

If nadal lost all of his matches in the remainder of the year.. he wouldn't be considered GOAT.

Ever.

Obviously he is prone to early round exit from Wimbledon, but
I'm pretty sure he will do better this year.

He did not expend as much energy as previous clay seasons
and that should be a plus.

I really wish you are right. It would be for the best.

I very much doubt that Djokovic is scared of playing anyone on any surface to be honest.

I wasn't referring to Djokovic, I was referring to the poster Chico. He is clearly afraid of having Nadal make it far at Wimbledon or any other slam, for good reason! :)

As am I. I want Djokovic to win Wimbledon, obviously, but upsets are bad for the sport and Nadal matches are always entertaining. Klizan is a good player and very much a threat.

Maybe he needs to be. His problem the last 3 years at the FO to me, is that he takes Rafa too lightly and acts and talks like he knows he's going to win the whole time beforehand.

About Rafa, he's been weirdly positive the past few days, which is good and says he feels better than last year and has practiced like hell since he arrived. I think he'll be ready.

That's just his personality, he is always going to be somewhat brash/confident before a big match. The opposite of Nadal in that regard, really. His demeanor during his 3 matches with Nadal has shown me that inside he is very uptight and nervous when playing Rafa at RG. He knows what a monumental challenge it is, just can't quite execute to the degree that is required.

Djokovic will probably win one soon vs Nadal. Whenever it is not the FO, Djokovic always has a very good chance.

Maybe they can get a cow to chew up the court before he plays lol.If venus said that the courts are playing slow then nadal will win.He still should win.

True, and it's just the little things like that about him that keep me from being a fan. Let your results speak for themselves. He said he had the match under control at 2006 RG  who does that?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Rafa loses today.
You need a strong serve to win here, and that's gone now ( for good ?) with Rafa...

Rafa made it to the final just fine in 2006 and 2007 with a serve much worse than his current one.

Yeah.

He was winning by attrition, retrieving everything like a rabbit.

And his mouvement/ stamina was something like 2 times better than nowadays.

Ain't hapenning now.
