How's the static weight? I'm sure the balance will be a little off since the frame has been broken/warped.
those two chicks seem to be really impressed.
I had noted in another thread, where someone posted a close up photo of Safin's frame, that the inner throat of his frame and the one I purchased off **** had identical markings:
Here is a close up of my frame.

I thought that Safin's frames all had "Marat Safin" printed on the inner throat of his frames like you can see in the OPs pic. Does yours have is name on the other side?

One other thing I find interesting:
In the OP's photo, if you look closely at the inner head (right above the last cross), it **appears** to have these marking on it:

If Safin is using a paintjob, why would Head Go thru the trouble of also painitng this on his frames?? Seems like too much trouble for something that is not possibly visible from the stands.
Mb because it is done by machines anyway. Just stick a pc600 in it and voila
Hi Drakulie!
HEAD does put that kind of detail on the Microgel paint jobs. What matters is the code on the inside of the throat to tell what the frame actually is. Here is a PT57A with the paint job of a Microgel Prestige Mid+.
Vsbabolat, once again>>> you the man! Thanks for the info.
What do you think in relation to Safin's frame?? Is it a paintjob of the clasic or some other frame???
^^As always, thanks for the great post/information. great stuff.
Now I wish I could find that photo of Safin. DAMN!!
Those "two chicks" look like two dudes.

^^^^No.
The frame I have is the same frame sold to the general public. The one difference it has is the inner markings on the throat.
**** is a retailer of frames. They do custom jobs for the pros and public. They received these frames (which are the same ones given to the pros), months before they were released, which is why they have the weird number on the throat.
I purchased mine, and had them specd to match exactly. Also, I had them place a leather grip on mine, rather than the synthetic grip the retail frame comes with.
Hi Drakulie,
Although I will be discredited by alpinecadet as I was unable to provide 'proof' that the pictures I posted were of a Safin pj (flex point) I have checked the inside of the throat and the only details were (on one side) the players name and on the other side, the string tension and day for the racquet when it was to be used.
As I am sure alpinecadet may pipe up....just to keep him happy (which will be difficult) i will get a freebee newspaper...the metro and take a picture of both sides of the throat (with tomorrows date 14 May 08). The racquet is a little scratched but not broken (Safin must've had a good day in the office)and balance feels great but I wouldn't or couldn't play with it as it has been signed by Marat (of all places...on the grip).
Hope this helps in your discussion.
Just for the record, Marat is not an **** client. He's a Priority One client.
