Thanks AlpineCadet, I do have the Fed frame and will take pics tomorrow and post them either tomorrow or Friday (have a tennis match tomorrow so I might not have enough time).

Is it comparable to the stock k90? Do you have the balance, SW feel, and weight? I'm sure everyone wants to know if it's the real deal.

I have taken some pics and will upload them shortly...as for the weight, swingweight etc, the racquet as you will see doesn't have grommets so it might be a little innacurate! Regarding measuring swingweight...how would I do that? (silly question I am sure).
As for shorter grip, drilling pattern, it is like the off the shelf K90. I will weigh this tomorrow and let you know.

Hey, BallWasIn, why don't you take the Safin frame out for a play test? If you are concerned about the signature on the grip, there's a solution for that:
wrap saram wrap around the handle. Then tape it up with the clear duct tape. Next, wrap an overgrip over that. There you go!

I actually got ernests gulbis' racket a month ago at river oaks and they look almost exactly the same. (both even have the older model head buttcap)

The cosmetics are applied to newly manufactured racquets. Don't know what you think you will find if you take the paint off.

Sorry to bump this thread.
But i noticed something interesting from the first pic the OP posted.
Notice the overgrip at throat seems to drop down and flat out from the rest of the grip. I am suspecting the reason why is because of the plastic collar on it.
Where the leather ends and the collars begins will cause a slight un-even level in the overgrip.
So i am suspecting Safin is still using the PC600 instead of the MG Mid as the MG mid never came with plastic collars.
