She can support whatever she wants, but keep it apart from the sport. AO was a first case of a Slam spoiled by politics. Wimbledon is the next.
For your info, there are plenty of conflicts these days with “bombings”, including Turkey occupation in Syria and Iraq, but I don’t see any sanctions against Turkey.
Keep politicians out sport.
