I hate the camera angle on tv

Does anyone else hate the birds eye view, high above the court camera angle in which they show tennis matches on television? I very much prefer the court level view where they film right behind the players and much lower on the court. In my opinion, it is a MUCH more live experience, for you can see the tremendous racket head speed and spin generated by the pros, and better sense of feel for whats going on in the points. I think they should make the "court level" view the default camera angle, and it would probably attract more viewers too.

they did a good job of filming those 'pepsi grand slam challenge' matches that are constantly being replayed on ttc. nice and low to the court, you got a good sense of ball speed and spin.

only people on this kind of board appreciate this angle

most people dont care if its faster, they want the best possible viewing angle

of course the best compromise is to have multiple angles on multiple channels

i don't care about the angle, how about espn show some good matches instead of americans, nadal, and fed

I have videos of the 2006 French Final.

When you see Nadal's forehand at court level you really see how fierce it is, nothing like the normal view. You really see how that ball kicks up.

Court level rallies are simple the best.
