I have seen a solid player in the DFW area just like that. 2hfh, 1hbh. Plus he is a lefty to boot. So you are not alone.

I knew a kid who did this. So yes, you are not alone. But.... aren't you losing power on your forehand? I never asked him about it.

Not really, I used to play FH with a full western grip (one handed) before and it was hard to generate power with that grip, so this was actually a change for the better.

With which hand do you hit your backhand and how are your hands placed on your forehand (which lower on racquet, which higher)?
I hit my one handed backhand with my right hand, I’m a right hander. The way I hit the two handed FH is that I hold the racquet with my right hand with the full western grip and I place my left hand as if I wanted to play a left handed one handed backhand with eastern grip. Imagine me as a player with Federer’s backhand and Nadal’s backhand.

I'm still curious. On your 2H forehand is your right hand on the bottom of the racquet and left hand higher up?
