Killer Seats
Right behind Larry E
I sat near there for a few days a few years ago. I was in the Audi seats exactly where the players sign autographs when leaving the court.

I felt like a fool (a grown man getting autographs), but I got Nadal, Federer, Serena, Berdych and a few others. It was a fun day.

What’s funny is, all the kids come running over to that section to get autographs and the security keeps them out so an old man like me can get autographs instead of the kids.

My seat was actually right where the players walk to, so I almost always got the very first autograph. They most often used my Sharpie to sign everyone’s stuff and then tossed it on the ground when they finished. One of the lackeys always gave me my Sharpie back

How did I get that seat? Funny you should ask. For a few years in a row a guy bought a single seat for the entire tournament and sold most of the weekdays on the auction site. I bought that seat for something like $50 a session (who wants to buy a single, right).

I always shared the seat with the people I was down there with. It really made their week. I actually didn’t care that much and gave it to them for Roger and Rafa matches as they were usually playing some scrub. I much rather watch a more competitive match on the outer courts

Larry moved his box to the other side to get away from the sun. The players no longer enter/exit near his box.

I have the best seat in my house. On the toilet with my tablet.

The bathroom break was about as long as it took Fed to dispense of Stan.
Hilarious....
Are you suffering from constipation or what??!!! Contact me for any suggestions if required, indian ayurveda is best at stomach problems

Federer was so-so

Earlier I saw Nadal with bad seats and he was on fire
Fed was way better than "so so," he was playing great considering it was cold and the conditions were hideously slow. Not even Stan could hit through that heavy atmosphere last night. And Roger was playing inside the court, taking the ball extremely early. A very solid performance from Fed last night.

I wonder if that is why aces seem to be low this tournament?

For example, Isner only had 7 aces in his match yesterday...

I want to attend next year. How much in advance did you buy the tickets ? And were you able to know that it was a Federer match beforehand ? Thanks

This am ate breakfast between kolschreiber and kachenov. Kolschreiber super nice. Was just eating by himself like any average joe. Very polite guy Lots of people coming up to him for selfies and he was very gracious. Also saw Simona in lobby. I think big 3 men rent houses so won’t see Just an fyi Hyatt IW is place to stay if u want to see a lot of pros
