Shouldn't you have posted this before the matches started? You waited until there are 4 players left and surprise, surprise, Nadal is one of them. :)

its not a bold prediction at all. you are predicting the top seeded player to win when there's only 4 players left. it is anything but bold.

before it started I picked Djokovic to beat Ferrer in the final--Im now picking djokovic over rafa nadal---it will be a rematch of the cincinnati event where djokovic was mocking nadal by waving his hand in front of his face implicating "YOU CANT SEE ME" by the way did anyone remember seeing that--he did it like 4 or 5 times

I think it's going to be tough. Nostradamus did not predict a winner so I can't say personally who's going to win the US Open. I would like to see Federer win but its going to be a tough road for him seeing that he will have to face almost insurmountable odds from Djokovic and most likely Nadal.

rafael nadal will win, though im a fed fan.

bold prediction or screwed in the head?

you tell me

Nope,I don't think you're screwed in the head.I'm a big Fed fan yet I have the same opinion.I think Nadal's taking the title this year,I'm not sure if Fed will even get past Joker.I would be happy if Roger proved me wrong though and defeated them both.

I'm a Djokovic fan so I'd like to say him, but to beat Fed and then (probably) Nadal would be ridiculously tough.

Not when your third in the world and have already beaten both of them on hardcourts in the past....these guys are pros they know what it takes to beat the 2 juggernauts...but to the rest of us..your right--it seems like a rediculous task

Well, in a row, after having to play a tough match against Robredo, and then Roddick, it would be extremely difficult to beat Fed then probably Nadal. I don't care who you are.

Plus, Novak has been banged up quite a bit this U.S. Open, so I'm not even sure what to expect.

Djokovic on the above comment--"Yeah, Well, Like it or not it's like that"

Very possible. Nadal might be fresher than Fed/Djokovic as they will likely have a very long match.

Nadal will win US open...there is no question about it! i mean the three remaining players are crap!! they can't match up to the speed and power of nadal!! Uncle Toni will be so proud on Sunday!

As a Nadal fan to me it doesn't matter. He has now proved himself over and over again. If it had been the US open instead of the Olympics then we would have been looking at Nadal the champ anyway. I don't buy that argument about surfaces - Rafa gets on with it. Good luck Rafa all the same you are the greatest whatever the result

Doesn't matter if the Federer/Djokovic match is long or not, Nadal will still be the slight favourite.

Anyway, back to the OP statement. The head says Nadal, the heart says Federer. However, if Djokovic reaches the final, I'd want Nadal to win.
