I like Nadal, but the only reason he won 12 slams = no edberg

come on..even nadal fans must admit this...edberg or rafter or mcenroe would
have afield day with him off clay pre2000 equipment. Also, the "power" hitters eg pete, boris of course would trouble him too, although I think it would be closer. I don't see him winning outsde paris, and given a couple of runs by stich..i see 6 or 7 Rg's

Ok, does Nadal have a time machine or do we just assume he was born in the 60s instead of the 80s? Is the the time machine of the Delorean variety or the phone booth variety? Just being thorough.

^^Ok. Taking a bit of a ****. No offense intended. It is interesting, though. Consider Edberg's record against Muster (10-0/4-0 on clay, I believe), the player from his era who I think plays most like Nadal today.

i'm pretty sure Edberg could have came out of retirement to play nadal..but, he was too scared. can't blame him really.
