I really love his sound/technical game. Baseliner, he is but also a real cat at the net. Looking forward to his return in Australia. Until then, all I have is youtube videos :(

Heard that he and Carlos will be playing an XO in Argentina in a month or so. Guess they'll both be looking to see if they've recovered enough from their surjuries to play seriously again. Fingers crossed...

I miss the days when he could just go one and just destroy the whole tour one by one, ala Madrid and Paris 2007.

that fed-nalby match in paris was one of, if not the best indoor match of the decade. real high quality from both players, even if it was straight sets. The commentator was right, they may need to repaint the lines after that match

I also hope he comes back strong. Hopefully, he's in a bit better physical shape all around.

How could you not miss Nalbandian? The guy is a magnet for epic 5 setters, and he's got the sweetest 2hbh in the game.

i second this...it'd be really awesome if he came back fitter than ever too, like as fit as monfils :p, but thats by a longshot, he's too busy racing his rally cars in argentina (he owns a rally car racing team)

It's about this time of the year when he destroys everyone and wins some Masters indoor tournaments. If he was healthy and 100% he'd obviously have a good chance at winning Shanghai this week, especially with all the injuries and retirements.

Yup he seems unbeatable indoors when hes on ...hope he comes back fully fit and next year could be the best chance for him to win a GS finally ..it would get very difficult later on ..

I hate to put a damper on your enthusiasm.

Nalbandian isnt probably going to do a whole lot in Australia. One might have to wait for post 2010 Us open. Thats when Nalbandian wakes up to play some good tennis in a year.

If you have such potential and cannot convert it at the highest level (GS), then I'm not really cant tip my hat to him! ..
So far reminds me of Rios like...
But yes, pretty darn good player on his day.

Anybody think he may have lost some weight during his time off and will be even more of a threat!

Nalby was a delight to watch indoors but lets be realistic here, he won't make any real impact on the tour, considering the ATP is slowing phasing out indoor. Expect modest results on the hard courts and maybe one more grand slam semi, thats about it.
