I must admit, Alcaraz is pro-overhyped guy ever.

Once again media lie to us. In 2005 made Federer GOAT. Now makes Alcaraz succcessor of Rafa.

Alcaraz won 2 tournaments on clay in this year, but did you see his draws? He beat completely nobody dangerous (tsitsipas is his pigeon). He almost lost in first match in Madrid vs Ruusovori, but Emil make big choke.
He was favorite last year before RG, lost with Zverev and im sure, that even if he pass zverev, he will **** up with Nadal.
Nadal probably now laughing at Mallorca, beacause when he had 20 years, he physically destroy Federer. Alcaraz have 20 years and lost physically with 36 old year guy who had the worst clay season ever from years.

There is a big hype, but for now alcaraz seems be one slam wonder champion. He has no chances in wimbledon. On US Open he can lost with much more guys than Roland Garros. And ofcourse his body starts to colapse. Second slam in this year and second injury.
In 2024 RG maybe Rafa back, Zverev will be much more danger, and ofcours immortal Djokovic.

And ofcourse I forgot about important thing. What was that twitter from Carlos in the morning? Are kidding me? After this I know he thinks about this match too much and he will start weak. And I was right. This kind of post you can post after win, not before match.

Im sure, if alcaraz didnt get cramps, than djokovic would show at his brain, heart and cojones :D

The truth is, he is not Top 3 material (yet) and most probably it will never be easy to compare, since Fedr is already out, Nadal seems to be out as well and Djoko will beat him 1-2 years more, before he will probably also retire. Then he will own the tour, but what will it tell us then? Not sure...

Look I said this in the other thread. Three players have real tactics. Joker-Rafa-Iga. None of them have Ex ATP ball bashers as coaches.
and yes I’d have better tactics and a gameplan than is out there on display on the WTA and ATP. Crush everything And run down more balls…. Oh the occasional drop shot

SOme of the comments on twitter about Alcaraz is just plain ridiculuous and cringe.

1) Alcaraz is just such an endearing player, he loses a point and then goes full positive onto the next point.

2) I think we all have some Alcaraz in us.

And so many of them.

Alcaraz is so lovely he has hair on his head and knees on his legs.. People are just ridiculuous on Social Media.. maybe a symptom of a deeper malaise??
