I need a ninja racquet

Can someone help me find a good racquet, my current racquet is a vantage custom 95 which is good but feels sluggish and lacks control too. I need something like the Prince EXO3 Tour which has amazing feel, spin, control, and feels very fast through the air but I need a smaller headsize than 100, any suggestions

There were some Ninja like warriors on the old Technifibres :)

Anyway, in the Prince, you're looking at a hoop with air holes and a grommet system that adds power. There are a few brands with this going on. It would seem safe to say that in leaving Vantage you are leaving off traditional racquets so why not look at some of the more recent technologies?

And why not 100, there's not a lot of diff between 95 and 100 visually so what puts you off that spec?

well if the prince exo3 100 has all the amazing feel, spin, control, like you said, then i dont see why you need a smaller head...

Stability, and it feels a little too big going through the air, it's my number 1 choice till I find something better

Try the Rebel. I don't feel like the extra weight of the Rebel is that much more taxing than my Tour 100 18x20.

I have demoed a lot, I can't get myself a demo of a Volkl power bridge 10 mid/mp, are they good?

TW has the demo, I am guessing it's not available for your location?
I see what you mean about the EXO3 tour, I am holding off on it myself due to the 100 sq inch head size. Even going from a 98 to 100 seems like a big deal :)

Here's a thread with opinions on the Volkl PB 10 mid. I have the MP and like it. Its a low powered racquet though.

Try some lead tape on the handle of your Vantage. That could make it much less sluggish for you. Plus, if it handles well, you may also get more control you want.

If the Prince EXO3 Tour is such a miraculous racquet for you aside from the head size... I dunno, maybe get a bigger racquet bag so it will fit? Sort of kidding there, but it sounds like you're letting the hoop size bother you too much.

If you honestly need a smaller head size, look for other frames with similar static weight, balance, and flex as that Prince, along with a smaller hoop. Maybe the 94" Donnays or one of the Dunlop 100's would be about right.

I just hit with a demo of the Dunlop Bio200. As someone who is really skeptical about rackets, that really impressed me. Great feel, excellent control and consistency, plenty of power, and good plow-through for a stock racket. In my book it needs a leather grip and some weight and it's something I'd consider switching to.

It was also strung with Dunlop Silk string. Never played with that before, so I don't know what sort of effect it had on the overall fee of the racket, but I was really impressed with the combination (and I use a Max200g with VS17 as my standard racket, so I'm all about feel, control, and consistency).

Listen to me my friend. To have a ninja racquet, first you have to become a ninja yourself...

The new Rebels are coming out soon with both 95 & 98 head sizes as well as a range of weights. That might be up your alley.

This.

Also you could look at the Pure Storm gt. A great flexi racket that really lets you customize it to your own personal taste. I have read your posts in the exo3 tour 100 club and I think you should really think hard about going with this racket. Some lead modifications could easily fix the stability issues.

+1 add some lead to that Exo tour and never look back! It truly is a whole different animal w/ even the smallest amounts of added weight.

I second the Pure Storm. Stock frame is extremely maneuverable and comfortable to use.

I'd also recommend the good ol' Prince TT Warrior (see sig). It's just as maneuverable and comfortable as the Pure Storm, but with about 75% of the power.

Yes that is what I was thinking, I might just do that, but I don't now if I will like it as much as the Tour, we will see

I have used the pure storm gt, good but not for me, so far I'm looking at:

Prince EXO3 Tour
New Prince racquets coming out
Head Prestige
Vantage bc20
Volkl PB10 325 or the organix version

I also dont want to add weight, trying to keep it in that 11.6/7 oz area

I've played with all of these (save for the new Prince) and my favorite of the bunch is the BC20. In fact, if you liked the EXO Tour and are after a smaller headsize, the BC is in line with that. Shares the characteristic of being flexier than most racquets of today. Ball feel is a little more crisp/hands-on with the BC20 than the EXO. BC20 is a special stick.

Okay thanks, it's really between the EXO3 tour and BC20 which I can not demo
