In an exhibition match in St. Anton on December 14th, Djokovic did not use a "blacked out" racquet, but instead, he used his normal kBlade racquet (see pics). I don't think that he is going to switch to Head just yet...
Here are some pictures :

Its weird though cuz he is using a blacked out frame and no stencil but so is Tipsarevic so either both of their contracts are done or they werent allowed to use stencils as weird as that sounds. Also look how much lead Djokovic has inside the throat
I have heard that his racquet was not the Blade Tour 93,because Wilson have bought the technical datas from LM Radical MP and made a Head based racquet for Nole.(Not the Blade 93)
I think it would not be a big change for him to go back to Head.
But it is only my opinion.

I'm pretty sure he's gonna with Adidas...
Even though it would make sense for Djok to go to Adidas (since he has his new little signature bird logo), the blacked out racket does not have the shape of the 3 bars on the 3' and 9' o clock that the Adidas frames will have this Feb.No, he's not.

Multiple threads have consistently mentioned Head reps leaking info about it being a Head Micro Prestige.. He'll actually be designing his own frame out this may.
Selling will start in May. But they'll present his racket earlier, as far as I know at the AO. And it will be NO Prestige or Radical.
I can't imagine that it will be far away from his old racket(s). But until now I don't know any more details.Well the specs be closer to the Prestige or Radical? Or will it be completely different.

...but I think that we can all agree that that racquet looks horrible.
Is there even a name for it yet?
I don't think so... it is still early.
But what I'd like to know is:
- does it use some good old mold?
- will it be that rare case when you actually can buy something similar to the racquets pros use (I mean before customisation) like the old APD (Rafa), O3 White XF (Sharapova) etc.
- will it be more of a Prestige (thin beam, heavy etc.) or a Radical (like a Prestige but lighter, easier for non pros to use)...
These are the same questions I am asking myself...and also is there a possibility that this will be a revamped and reproduced PT630/280 racket...which would be quite cool.
Also, is this the same racket that Davydenko will be using? The racket Davydenko is using appears to be thinner as well...but of course I cannot tell for sure from pictures.
That racket that Davydenko is pictured using looks like a Prince more than a Head. Are you positive that its a Head racket? I agree, I also want to know if the racket will be closer to the Prestige or the Radical and if it will be sold to the public. You also forgot that after Head customized Ivan L.'s Microgel Extreme, they came out to the public and other pros started using it as well.
I am quite sure that it is a HEAD racket because of the following images of Emilio Sanchez who appear to be using the exact same racket. Furthermore, the white grommet strip has already been identified as an upcoming new HEAD technology in the Extreme line of rackets. Supposedly the grommet strip is composed of Teflon.
It is highly unlikely that two differing people (Sanchez, Djokovic) using rackets with white grommet strips that are identified as HEAD rackets via stencil are using a different racket than what Davydenko is using an unidentified racket with a white grommet strip.
Furthermore, if Davydenko was play testing a Prince...I would think HEAD would be a little alarmed as all three rackets have white grommet strips. In other words, it is not likely that two different companies would give out rackets for play testing that appear exactly the same, as well as have a unique feature (a white grommet strip) that is exactly the same if not similar.
Lastly the teflon grommet strip has now been shown to exist on two HEAD rackets, the upcoming extreme pro, and the racket Djokovic has been pictured with.
Though I don't know for sure, all the evidence points towards Davydenko play testing a HEAD racket.
Great info Chauvalito. Thanks. Davydenko's racket shown above is different than Djokovic's correct? Anyone sporting the new Microgel Extreme yet? Do you think most people will make the switch (public)? IMO, I am not sure if I would if I used the Extreme, especially in the economoy we are in...
Thanks, but I should say that much of thsi has been posted before in differnet threads, and I an just synthesizing the information spread throughut the board.
I can't tell if Davydenko's racket is different than Djokovic's, but I would say that they appear different in that Davydenko's beam width looks thinner. But this could be a result of lighting and color, as black seems to have a slimming effect on the racket.
I saw of picture of one pro using the new extreme pro...but I cannot find it anymore, it was in VSbabolat's online picture collection.
Someone mentioned that they have made more tangible changes to the Extreme like changing the string pattern, if this is true then it may be worth it for those using the extreme pro. Personally, I was not a huge fan, so I will not be demoing the new version.
I am interested in the reasoning behind the teflon grommet tech.
I am as well. I am assuming Head will now add the Telfon grommet tech to all their new rackets? Including the new Djokovic racket? I dont know if I agree upon the idea to upgrade a whole racket basically because mainly the grommets... I'd be definitely hesitant to make the switch/upgrade.
I also wanna speculate about the name of Djokos new racket. I have two ideas:
1. Microgel Falcon
2. Microgel Elite (my favorite)
