So, after today's four-set victory in the semi-finals at Wimbledon, Roger Federer extends his record among men to 12 singles finals reached. Only Martina Navratilova (also 12) has reached as many Wimbledon singles finals, and only Blanche Bingley Hillyard (13) has reached more, although the latter played when the Challenge Round was still in force and the holder didn't have to play through. Should Federer beat Novak Djokovic in Sunday's men's final, he will equal Navratilova's record of 9 Wimbledon singles titles.

2019 might turn out to be my favorite GOAT year, even in the Year of the Pig:

Started slowly and sadly a bit of hangover from frosty ‘18 after another glorious Australian Summer. From there it’s been a blessing to see The Eagle soar again, even with a nosedive on a windy Parisian spring day. The revenge in the Dubai desert, the Subtropic Thunder in Miami, the tenner in Halle and now a dozen Sundays at SW19.

All in a dream, all in a dream

Look at Mother Mirka’s boy in 2019!

The Golden Eagle adds a 38th chevron but is magnanimous enough to let hometown hero Félix have a cake in Montreal and for CH Tseng also celebrate today in faraway from home Manerbio, Italy.

Happy days to all!

Federer became the first living Swiss personality with his own coins.

More informations:
A 20-SF piece and it’s selling for $30 when the exchange rate is basically 1:1. The planned matching 50-SF piece in gold will be a better value at just $60.
