I tired a rocket luncher yesterday

Fatmike

Semi-Pro
Wilson Ncode n1

I tried several racquets in the last 2 years, but no other came close to the power of the n1.

It is so stiff though, almost no control.... very very light and head heavy, strange feeling, or should I say no feeling at all....

Crap, can't believe they sell it at almost 300$.

The guy who had it bouight it at a random sport boutique, a place where they don't know a damn thing about racquets....

I think it won't help him at all to improve.... cause if you wants to put a little more in the shot, the ball end up in the fence....

How does TW can gives ntrp rating in association with racquets?? Maybe the n1 is good for a 2.5 but what 2.5? A 2.5 older folks who won't improve and lost some power is it the same as a 2.5 20 years old guy that just picked up tennis and wants to improve???

hum....

for the most part, a N1 is a bad racquet since it makes people want to "push" but there are exceptions. My friend uses an N1 and he is atleast a 4.0. All his strokes are extremely flat and have scary pace.

I'm sure of that, like I said N1 is the most powerfull racquet I tried....

I like to take out my friend's Wilson Triad 3.2 every once in awhile and just slam the hell out of the ball. It's not great for accuracy or spin, but it's amazing how much pace you can put on the ball, especially when you're used to much lower powered racquets.
