Whether you like them or not, both men have given us a truly iconic era in mens tennis. They have been the best of the best for the past several years. Never has there been such total domination by two players, than these two. And to do what they have done, playing in each other's era has been truly outstanding.
Only one thing truly remains to complete the legacy. A US Open match up. I hope fans of tennis will see this a fitting climax almost to this historic rivalry, and domination at the pinnacle of the mens game. Because it is the only true great battle field left where they have not had the chance to perform. I really do hope this happens, regardless of who wins.
Nothing against the other players, but I just want to see this match up just once at the US Open. Regardless of what the outcome may be, the Fedal era would further cement itself in the legacy of all sports.
And we will all be able to say that we saw it when it happened!!!!!
