I (we) miss them

Although I like/love current men's tennis (The Nadal-Federer movie), the WTA just doesn't do it for me since the departure of all the greats or tennisstars. Watching Sabatini on youtube (exhibition), makes me miss that period.

No one plays like them anymore. She is stil pretty. I miss the encounters with Steffi. Does anyone know if they will broadcast the Clijsters-Graf match.

Not really a discussion thread, more a sentimental feeling on a sunday-youtube-morning :)

I really liked Sabatini, too. Also, I admired the tennis of Martina Navratilova and Hana Mandlikova. I even liked Hingis. I liked Bettina Bunge, but not really for her tennis.
Yeah warriorrog, that was a good era for women's tennis. The Williams sisters would routine any of them, though. That's progress, man...progress.

As much as I like the Rog, Raf, Murray and Tsonga show, I definitely miss Noah, Becker, Rafter, Guga and even Baghdatis.

marcos is honnored to be on your list... but he hopes he'll be back at his best level soon so that you don't miss him anymore. ;)

Yes, long live the beautiful game, mon ami!
Speaking of which, and germane to the thread topic...I just wanted to mention Maria Bueno and Evonne Goolagong.
Also, I'm visualizing Hana Mandlikova in 1981 with a wooden WIlson frame....what a player, what a mover.
