Here's a lukewarm defense for Nike. Wimbledon officials give you very little to work with colorwise, so you're stuck with that. But it doesn't mean you should be inactive as a designer. I don't buy Nike Wimbledon every year (or at all). Does the shape, material, extras (laser cut this and that), use of silicone, or other stuff change very much every year? That's what I would be doing with my time as a designer at Nike. Use the opportunity to innovate and play with the technology and patterns of the items in a blank white format, so that you can use those same innovations on your other colorful lines throughout the rest of the year.

Only difference from 2015 for Feds Henley is that the Nike tick is some sort of pearlescent black colour instead of solid black. A lot of thought must've gone into that.

Well I'm sorry I said that. Didn't mean to say it in a bad way. Anyway, I do agree with @J011yroger that Nike is lacking in the design department. At least we have decent colors this year.

i own the last 3 years of fed wimbly shirts.
2017 has the best feel compared to fit. and the materials are better than 2015s. 2016 polo looks the best and feels pretty good. both beat 2015s. nike has done minor details like the button holes being easier to use, the longer tail and hems in better places. idk, i see alot of hate but i like the all whites and the new feel of their materials

Wimbledon won't allow any color anymore. The days of Borg's Fila, McEnroe's Sergio Tacchini, and Becker's ellesse with interesting designs while still being mostly white is gone. It's now all white with maybe some trim.
