Ideas for videos to do?

I recently started a youtube channel and I reviewed 2 strings. I somewhat consider these practice videos since they are 2 strings that aren't super high on the radar and I want to get the swing of things a bit.

Working on some ideas for content but do you guys personally have ideas for strings to do?

I think I will do interesting ideas like compare a string at 2 very different tensions or something. I think that would be interesting.

I'd appreciate some honest feedback and hopefully you guys won't be super mean just to be mean but do as you will. I'm just starting out but I have had this idea for a while and want to get it going before it's some pipe-dream and nothing more, you know?

Life is short...

Here is the first video and you can see the second one by going to the channel, of course.

As a stringer myself, I'm always interested in string reviews.

I would be interested mostly in cheap strings (like pro's pro).

Btw, you feel like a natural on camera.

Edit: I personally dislike those views from the ground. I see no point in watching from this angle, tbh. I prefer back views and a 45º angled back view (on the last one it's easier to evaluate shot depth, imo).

I agree I'll keep the ground ones to much less or just focus on the mid height ones. I felt similarly while editing but left it to see what people think. I know you are just one answer but I think you are right.

I will definitely do more budget string options. Like different price tiers and so on.

Kudos for starting a YouTube channel. Check out vacation tennis, mark sansait, tennis spin and tennis nerd for strings that have already been covered. Personally I am a huge fan of Signum pro strings. Highly underrated. But I understand that for the price point players would rather buy the other mainstream options. Firestorm is probably my favorite of their strings.

Other brands that should be covered: more kirschbaum strings, pro supex, weisscannon, and pacific strings. Honestly there’s a shortage of tennis string reviews in general so you could review any string

Thanks! Tennis spin is funny. Super clickbait titles. I plan to take some pages from their book and give it my own spin

I'll think of some content ideas that cover such strings and get them the attention they maybe deserve. Oehms is an interesting brand. ADV I'll do as well.

What happened?
Well, I was perusing the site just as I was about to fall asleep, and I read this portion of your post:
I think I will do interesting ideas like compare a string at 2 very different tensions or something. I think that would be interesting.
And read it as:
I think I will do interesting ideas like compare 2 strings at very different tensions or something. I think that would be interesting.

So I responded saying "It might be more interesting if you do the same string at widely different tensions, like one at 40lbs and one at 52lbs". Then I re-read the line I had quoted and realized I had a slight bout of dyslexia, and you had actually said in your initial post what I was suggesting, so I deleted mine.

I also have come to the conclusion that I shouldn't respond to things on this site (a) 5 minutes before I go to sleep, and (b) after a nice Gin & Tonic...

Ah, so I did the thing you said I should do. What if I went back and edited my post? That's nice you fell asleep shorlty after. I'm up at 506am working on things :)

I think your post is fine. It was my inability to read (and understand) that was the issue.

And I'm up at 4:50 ES(D)T, heading to work (gotta beat the morning rush).
