Identify this Blade

Hi all! I picked up this racquet for cheap and have had a great time hitting with it. I'm usually an n6.1 95 guy, but this thing felt great---lovely feel, and decent for flat shots as well as ones with spin. It paired particularly well with my 1HBH. That's stock with a leather grip and two overgrips (which brought it to 340g—haven't measured balance or swing weight). It feels like it would be a beast when leaded up to my 6.1 95 specs, but it actually felt like home as is.

I admit that while it was on its way in the post, I noticed in the pictures that it had the 18x17 string pattern rather than the 18x16 standard for this 2013 model and thought I might have scored an H22 in that rare string pattern, but alas (or not, because I like this thing a lot!), the beams have the D profile proper to the Blades and not the flatter ones from the H22. That and they're 21mm wide.

But that raises the question, what is this thing? I can't find any reference to retail 18x17 Wilsons until the PS97S (which I also have, and this isn't). If it's not an H22, what might it be? I've heard "pro stock Blades" being talked about that use this pattern, but wouldn't they use the H22 mould? The specs on the throat are accurate, so it doesn't seem to be a PJ with something else underneath—they're also different from the 2013 18x16 model with the same paint job. The specs at least match this one: https://www.prostocktennis.com/products/wilson-pro-stock-blx-blade-98-18x17-1

Perhaps someone here has some insight?

Ha! Yeah, they've tried all sorts with the spin racquets: 18x16, 18x17, 16x15...

On the topic, I know Kuznetsov was using 18x17 with this PJ at some point---it does look more like the Blade mould than the H22 one. I really like his game too---super relaxed swings, as you might expect from such a slight guy (come to think of it, the other Kuznetsov was a nice hitter too). Let's hope it's the racquet's doing, if that's what this thing is after all. /jk

2013 Blx Blade 18x17. Easily could just be a prototype or just alternate drilling pattern for someone that wanted to try it. Wasn't Dimitrov into those 18x17 patterns?

Just happened to buy the 16x19 version of this racquet 2 days ago for $30. Great frame.

OK, we have an answer. I got in touch with the guy I bought it from, and he bought it from Guillermo Olaso, Spanish pro ranked in the top 200 back then. So yeah, pro stock after all! I'll report back with some numbers when I measure them.
