If Dimitrov is BabyFed, then who is BabyNadal?

It took many years to find the new Thomas Muster, and that was Rafael Nadal. At this time, I don't see anyone on tour resembling Nadal.

i think Paire is the closest to baby Nole.

Young is the closest one to a baby Nadal, but quite further apart than Paire and Nole...

I don't see why people say Paire is similar to Nole at all. Their gamestyles are very different. Paire is an erratic, low-percentage big hitter. Nole is a very consistent, methodical aggressive baseliner. Nole takes the ball early and hits high-percentage probing shots looking for a short ball to attack. Paire tries to go for tons of BH winners and sometimes ill-advised dropshots. Also, Nole is very comfortable on defense. When his opponent has him stretched, he gets the ball back deep, neutralizes the rally and tries to get on offense again. Paire often just goes for a low-percentage slap bailout shot when defending. Another thing is the FH. Nole's FH is a precise, accurate machine. Paire's is an erratic loose cannon. The only similarities between their games that I can see is that both have good BHs. That's it! Nothing else is even remotely similar. IMO Nishikori is the Baby-Nole. His game is exactly the same (but not quite as good). Both have simple strokes. Both are methodical aggressive baseliners with very good defense. There are way more similarities then with Paire.

Young is closer to a baby Rios than a baby Nadal.
I totally agree. That flat backhand, those good hands. Too bad they slowed down the courts over the past decade. I would love to see what Donald could have done in the 90s. Oh well. By the way, Rios is my favorite player.

Dude, this is TT. The general way of thinking is: Paire has good backhand, Djokovic has good backhand. Djokovic = Paire.

i haven't noticed anyone else make the same conclusion as Paire being a baby Nole. However, to me they resemble one another with Paire having more flair. of course Paire is not as good as Nole, but i feel he has the potential to be unlike Nishikori who just does not have the power (even thought i love Nishi's BH).

Diasgree. Quinzi is a guy who already relies a lot on the serve. He has a great forehand, but to me, is far more aggressive than Nadal was at the same age.
Well of the upcoming lefty players besides Bellucci, who is much older, there are really no other players similar to Nadal that I've seen coming up with great potential.

Klizan.

Paire is almost nothing like Djokovic. There's probably about 20 players that are more Djokovic-like than him. I agree that Nishikori is similar to Djokovic.

When God made Rafa he broke the mould. so there is only one Rafael Nadal.
Yes sure you really understand Biology. ecology and human evolution. Unbelievable just one human has evolved past all mankind in one lifetime while all of us just have not gone anywhere. LOL! Nadal is a hyper evolved human. Why are not all scientists in the world studying him?!!!!!! This is a tragic loss of evolutionary knowledge we are losing!
