Thanks ! Do you think Tweeter is a best way to share this ? Better than Instagram ?

There is someone on here who shared ideas for tennis racquet designs, that were eventually used by the company. :o

I can't remember the person's name, but someone here will know them. Who was that? You could contact them and ask what channels they used to get their ideas in front of the company and eventually work with them.

They should pay it forward and help you get your ideas through the right channels. A lot of work is going into this and I would like to see these ideas being used.

Do both, bc they seriously need ideas. These are epic ;)
.

Thanks, i will try to do that ;)

What's with the line down his back?"
I keep thinking he's got a pony tail.

Wich Line ? Vertical on back ?

Best. Color. Combination. Ever.

This colourway is fX%$ing cool.

For me a lot of the Nike's Rafa style gear doesn't suit me because it is very bright even though I like the designs on other people. This one has the aggressive Rafa styling and I could also wear it as well.

I know you're designing with specifically the Rafa and Nike style but you could also not just mention Nike but talk to a guy on these boards who has his own apparel company to submit designs.

For me this colourway is the classic American colegiate style with a mixture of European stylings. This is the style stuff that people buy a lot of and reminds me of the stylings of companies like Gant and some sailing brands (mainly lower profile brands).

Thanks for you r message dude ;) I appreciate your advices and agree with these. Effectively, this colourway is very "Preppy" with a light shade for an aggresive's touch. I think, people who buying Rafa's outfits and shoes are "younger" than Fed's gear fans... But it's not my case (i'm 40 ;)).
I'm also interested to work for another brand or compagny, obviously, it's just an stylistic exercise to create and design for Rafa "for Nike" ;)

Yep, 'Preppy' is exactly what I thought you were going for; this outfit would look incredibly 'on point' - sorry I probably should translate this phrase back into the French it was stolen from so 'en pointe' ;) - if you were having a hit of tennis at a local country club - assuming they don't require all white with a collar - after a sail at Newport etc. etc. Maybe Ralph Lauren would be interested...:) OH GAWD, I'm late for my knock up; now where the devil did I leave that damn horse?

You know who needs more rescuing in terms of kit?
Djokovic. Since 2014 his kit hasn't really stood out (2016 AO exception). Could you maybe make a design for Nole?

The best kit I've seen in my time watching was Djokovic's 2010 dragon designs. But if these were made, they would be even cooler

Hi, i'm not a big fan of Nole, but i'm agree about the best design he wore. ST outfits were very personalized, originals and differents than the others brands. We love or not, but, i think there is a "spirit" Sergio Tacchini ;)

Never say never... Maybe ;)

Doing that could work, but a large block might end up contrasting too heavily with the subtle graduation of the fade, and reduce the tennis court line references. I like the colour reverse re the Nadal logo on the bottom of the shirt.

2019: New design for apparel, same for shoes, new fantastic colors and challenge court inspiration... Enjoy !

What software do you use to make all this? (both the layout and editing it on Rafa) I wanna take a crack at some Djokovic ideas

Looks great, especially the shorts and shoes. I generally prefer the yellow just as a 'highlighter' rather than as a main colour, but the black shorts balance things out pretty nicely.:)

Designers for Australia's national teams should take note of the subtle, understated shades - especially in comparison with the garish, canary inspired monstrosities that, more often than not, grace our athletes.

Thanks for your compliment ; ) I have don't thinking about, but it could be a good Idea !

Hi everybody !

I am 40 years old, I am French ( sorry for my english !) and sometimes, I'm a graphic designer ;)
I am a big big fan of Agassi and Nadal...
And of course Nike.

Since 1990 (i was 13 years old), and the introduction of the Challenge Court range, I have been passionate about tennis clothes and shoes.
I bought many outfits, pair of shoes, because designs were awesome. But since two years, I find that the designs and colors chosen by Nike lack inspiration.
For example, since 2015, the design of the shirt and the short of Rafa is the same all the year, like that of his shoes since ... 2014 !!
It's quite crazy, because on previous seasons, there were at least four different designs for 8 or 9 colors, and at least one different shoe model per year.
What is the reason ? Lack of inspiration, creativity, budget ?

No matter, I tried to "create" my own virtual Nike tennis line over a year, and certain by inspiring me and refreshing the designs Challenge Court during the 90ees ;)

I'm just trying to give my vision of what could be the Rafa's outfit throughout the year, with sleek design consistent with previous collections, but with vibrant and unused colors.

Some have already seen my work on this forum and on instagram (@varcdador) for a few weeks.
Now, Here is my work ! Enjoy :))

Love the designs, think the clay season would make a great colour for AO or Miami, with the cappuccino for IW. The red would be great for the indoor season, ATP finals etc.
