Much was said the Fed only won last year because Nadal didn't play.Well now He is playing and playing his best, He just won RG,I mean Soderling gave him that match,the match was fixed by ATP.
I first thought Nadal only won that year anyway because Fed had mono and that messed up his whole season.
He deserved to win,but He only won because Fed had mono and towards the end of that match Fed couldn't see the ball well anymore due the darkness.
If He doesn't win this year, his title was only due to Fed's mono, if He wins I will accept it,if not,for me He is only a clay player.

I actually enjoy the implosion Nadal's win caused today and the whole MTO aspect of it. I find it funny to see so many haters around and lots of people who "have lost respect for Nadal today" but follow his every match :oops:

Hey man,it is your right to say whatever you want.I know it's controversial and some people really like, but the point is clear,everybody said many things about it,but if He doesn't win it means He wasn't going to do much anyway,so the supposedly injuries He said he had wouldn't have made any difference since He was not going to win anyway,healthy or injured.

If Federer's FO was a fluke then so is Nadal's Wimby. I mean he played Mono Fed not Fed Fed =)
 
I didn't vote for either option because: I don't think the 08 win was a fluke, but I don't necessarily think he will win it this year...

Buckethead has recovered as well it seems.

When you are the favorite/cofavorite heading into a tournament, as nadal was at the 2008 wimbledon, that's the opposite of a "fluke" buckethead. ;)
 
No one other than Fed has made more Wimbledon finals the last decade than Nadal. (Roddick tied with 3) So no, Wimbledon 2008 was no fluke.
 
Also, I don't like polls that give false dichotomies. I can't vote in this one as many others can't, because the follow-ups after the answers don't inescapably follow from the answers themselves.
 
He will have to prove himself this year.
Because there is no excuse of divorce,knee injury and all that BS,however He is already pretending some injuries.
Mono is a serious disease and it messed up Feds whole season.He couldn't train much,lost to Djokovic(another fluke win),had some bad losses,lost confidence and we know what happened that year.
Some people never recover from it.
Now old Fed is still banging the drum and Nadal in his prime needs to prove that He can win again.
 
I can't agree with either poll selection.

I am not certain at all that nadal will win this year. Solderling could end up having his number. Possibly Murray too. Also Nadal made it to the final 3 consecutive years and played against one of the greats of grass each time. In 2007 he nearly had Federer's number, though Nadal was at a disadvantage serving second in the final set. Like Borg his game seems to translates well between the clay and grasscourts.

I'm no Nadal fan btw. And like I long suspected Lance Armstrong (immense mountain of circumstantial evidence) and Marion Johns and turned up correct, I think Nadal is on PEDs.

If they meet in the final again once again it depends on which federer steps on the court. The one that shanks and misses everything or a sturdy sharp federer. After his lung infection after australian open he hasnt been playing at his best to be honest. It seems everytime fed suffers a disease or illness his performance goes way off where nadal takes physical injuries.

Fed is tuning up his game.From now on He is only getting better.If Petzchner gave Nadal a run for his money without a back hand, Fed can win again.
BTW I don' think Nadal will get to the final but He has a slight chance.
Fed may be upset too,but i doubt it right now.
Yes Fed was sick again this year.
Nadal always find a way to cheat.
His injuries are all fake and it only happens when he is losing.

2. on court coaching
3. calling MTO when he's losing(not injure)

Nadal doesn't get a free pass. Novak gets call out for quitting. Serena gets call out for her bad behavior. Understood?
 
If Fed or Nadal win Wimbledon this year, they will become the greatest Wimbledon player of this era. Fed only won 07 because Nadal injured himself in the final while he was dominating and well on top and cruising to victory, and he only won 09 because Nadal was out injured.

Fed only had mono in his match against Faker in AO2008, after that he was fine, you don't make multiple slam finals with mono. He even won USO. Federer was always 100% excuses, it's just his fans always refused to see it.

Yeah reaching the wimbledon finals three times in a row right after having won the French open on a totally different surface and then going on to beat the self-proclaimed greatest of all time on his favorite surface in the greatest match ever played in his favorite tournament is a fluke. Especially after having basically tied up the game and the rain saving Federer several times and having to keep your serve countless times to stay in the match in the last set when playing one of the best service canons of all time.

I am planning to play some ATP tennis in near future. As you know i cant win matches by playing and would like to fix a few until i get some sponsors.

Seems like you know a thing or two about ATP fixing matches. Where can i find more details?. How do they fix such things?. How much does it cost?

I appreciate your help.

That match is the highlight of the whole Nadal/Federer era and that is the match tennis fans in future decades will look back at when defining Federer or Nadal's careers.

Then they will look back at the most impressive final between the 2 at the other slams- I would say the 2008 FO final, and the 2009 AO final.:)
 
These nadal supporters are some of the most blind of all times. Anyone can see that nadal doesnt have roddick ever on his half or quarter at wimby. Why, because fed vs roddick is the better billing, and nadal doesnt beat roddick on grass. That way you have roger in the final against nadal, or murray or joker. Its the best possible marketing. Why nadal never faced a isner, karlovic, querrey, dent, ancic in the first 2 -3 rounds when they arent completely used up? I would be happy with a malisse, lopez, or a ????? instead of the no names and peter lusciak 's of the world, that have zero weapons and zero physicaclity to their game. His draws always consist of fellow spainards, players over 30 and players less than 6 ft tall. No wonder he has made the wimby finals 3 times in a row. His winning is very draw dependant and surface related. How can the "luck" of the draw be favorable so many times? Somethings will never be answered......
 
Nadal is already the best grass court player to win only 1 Wimbledon in recent years along with Ivanisevic. Not that I expect him to stay only 1. And give me a break about the mono crap. Federer said himself he was already past the mono by the clay court season, never mind by Wimbledon.
