Let's look at the ones that matter-

2008 Olympics Semi-Final: Nadal won, sending Djokovic into mourning (on the court tears).

2010 US Open: Nadal won 6-2 in the 4th set.

2011 US Open: Djokovic won 6-1 in the 4th set.

2012 Australian Open: Djokovic won 7-5 in the 5th set.

Doesn't look like Djokovic has much of an edge at all on hardcourts.

I was watching online on TennisTV so I don't know who it was, he also said Nadal's match was the main course and Federer's was the dessert.

Nadal has more FB followers than Federer - 10,825,402 to 10,823,671.

Since when has FB not been important to Fedfans. Federer's clothing is more expensive because only old fuddy duddy people with money buy them, Nadal appeals to young, trendy people who don't have too much money at their disposal.

haha your funny! when federer walked out on court in both finals 2008 and 2007 he was wearing an amazing cardigan and a blazer way to look classy and posh! what was nadal wearing again? thats right a sleeveless shirt and shorts Good one! xD The reason federer's clothes are more expensive is because NIKE makes more money off of them! which means there is more demand! which means more fans! simple macroeconomics come on!

Federer's long term contracts were signed when he was still winning, I bet his sponsors are now regretting it. They have to recover their money whilst he can still win the odd match here and there.

that Nadal bulks up his H2H on clay while crapping out on HC himself. Only in the last couple of years or so has he shown a decent level of consistency and it doesn't get it done against a prime Djokovic more often than not whilst somewhat sufficing for a Fed who's out of his prime years. On indoor of course he gets burned because that is one surface that continues to reward aggressive tennis players. Even Hard Courts now have become so slow and high-bouncing that it does not help the cause of players who look to take risks.

Imagine if Nadal had been physically fresh before that, would have been straight sets probably, rather than 5. And the 2012 AO semi-final, quite comprehensive, after Federer won the first set, Nadal won the next 3 sets.
 
I hope Nadal meets Federer at this year's Wimbledon, so Nadal can tie the grass h2h at 2-2, and capture his 3rd Wimbledon. He is playing well enough and young enough to then reach 5 Wimbledons. He'll continue to have shots at Wimbledon, because Roland Garros gets him into great form each year for it.

Both when Fed was off his prime years. In 2009 he had back problems serving 21 DFs throughout the tournament. Anyway like I said plexicushion or HC by and large is now fairly slow and high-bouncing.

And Federer was the bookies favorite in each match.

Those who say Nadal is only good on clay should take note. Federer didn't even get bronze at the olympics in 2008. Fed won most of his slams in the 'weak era'.
