No problem with you as a Rafa's fan or Djoker's, Sampras's, Lendl's, or even Laver's. As long as no statement as WILL win the next century, then we're fine.LOL you have no idea about this forum then lol if you think im a die hard fed fan your gonna be sooooooooo surprised!! im prolly just about average! they might as well rename this place federer talk at tennis warehouse

Not all Fed fans are sane either, but IMO, Rafa fans are just... too much. But hey, hey, we still can discuss, reasonably well together, except a few individuals.
also to get to the topic title
remember when Federer was a slight dude w/ goofy hair
and nadal was nothing more than a "dirt rat"
and djokovic couldn't get out of the way of his own head
aside from seeing greatness, we watch sports because they are unpredictable and surprising.
Everybody also thought Roddick would be the next Sampras, you can see how that turned out.also to get to the topic title

i hope i can bump this thread when Raonic kicks Rafa out of wimbledon 2012 in in the third round..
ofcourse Ill agree with you soon as i figure out what "colm" means
Nadal's 2010 USO serve was overrated. It only looked like a weapon because he played worthless opponents. He served just as big at Wimbledon 2011 but the only difference was he actually played quality opponents in that tournament compared to USO 2010.
Worthless opponents? Djokovic is a worthless opponent, is he?
and not just injury what if he dies?? LOLOL
Nadal's crew is 4,45€ less than Federer's polo.
Nadal's short is 4,09€ more than Federer's short.
Nadal's jacket is 8,99€ less than Federer's jacket.
Nadal's cap is the same as Federer's cap.
Nadal's shoe is 20,05€ more than Federer's shoe.
Total outfit (minus rackets) is more expensive.
You've shown that Nadal has more FB fans and then claimed that Federer's clothing is only bought by old, rich people. The catch is that most old people couldn't give a rat's ass about FB.
2004 US Open
NY, U.S.A. Hard R64 Roddick, Andy
6-0, 6-3, 6-4 Stats
OH YEAH! I completely forgot about that. Roddick was pretty amazing in that match!
You two do realize that Nadal had just turned 18 a few months earlier and was playing prime Roddick, no? BTW Nadal was ranked around #70 right before the 2004 USO while Roddick was ranked #2.
As a Canadian I never thought milos was going to be the best in the world at any time. He has some serious holes in his game, but also one of the best serves the game has ever seen. It is too bad so many commentators and people around the world have typed him up to be the next greatest thing, it does nothing but hurt the enjoyment some of us get out of watching him. Serve or no serve, he has come close to beating Federer three different times. If he has a good day at the office, there is no reason he can't do what Isner did, and take nadal to five sets in a difficult match on any surface. That being said it wouldn't set any type of precedent or anything like that, it would just be a one-off thing. On the other hand he is essentially doing the best out of everyone that is around his age. It may take him a while to peak especially in an era dominated by three players that all may have contention for goat status by the end's of their careers.
If Raonic is the best talent the new generation has to offer....I think we'll see Nadal and Djokovic dominate the tour long after each decline....

Raonic's baseline ability is a joke. He will never beat Nadal in a slam. He probably won't beat Djokovic either. His groundstrokes have the consistency of a junior. You can't beat the top 2 baseliners in the world when all you have is a serve. His movement is horrific (not as bad as some of the other oafs though). His game is repulsively one-dimensional. And he also appears to lack pride in his results, if his happy handshake at the net for Federer was anything to go by.
Good call.
In any other generation player of Raonic's talent or skill set wouldn't be Top 10 for sure. It's pretty embarrassing 1990-94 generation approaching 22-24 age group still couldn't produce Masters champion let alone Slam winner, #1 player, challenging Nadal and Djokovic stuff and best player it could give is still Raonic. Tennis at it's lowest point in terms of competition, what else?
This obviously opens window for top old farts still hanging in despite of facing apparent decline for couple of years at least. If (hopefully) 1995-99 generation produces next all time greats or slam winners at least then we can hope they will fade away unless Big 3 (2 actually!) Golden era of Tennis continues for complete decade.
I have a feeling that you may end to be the same person as the OP![]()
