If Andy carries USA over spain next weekend in Austin, Can this revive his Year and go on to have a Great summer and possibly have a Great US open ??? Often times, Davis Cup has helped player's game Tremendously. Just Look at Novak Djokovic after his Davis cup win last December.
Look at what he is doing in 2011 after that Davis cup. Can this do the Same thing for Andy roddick ??:)

Are the pigs all fuelled and ready for take off?

Hey man, you can't denie the fact that Novak is 100 % player after his 1st Davis cup win in last december.....right ??

Last time I checked Andy isn't Novak in skill, talent or age. You need to have the fuel before you get a flame :)

He said the Davis Cup victory gave him confidence.

Woohoo. Roddick can be confident all he wants, he'll still get bullied all day.

Where's the option for the US winning the tie but Andy (unfortunately) not really contending for slams again?

Even if he crushed everybody in that DC tie, he will get manhandled on the tour as he always does now.

You won't be So Delicious when i am thru with you, Saids Roddick

Roddick, Fish, Bryan brothers vs Ferrer, Verdasco, Lopez, Granollers...

...why the hell would the USA not play this tie on grass?

Fast indoor hard court is just as good I reckon.

And, regardless of DC results, Roddick will have a decent-to-great summer. The guy has put in the work, he's working on not pushing (which he doesn't do in DC anyway thankfully) and he's totally due.

Roddick will rise again!
And easily finish in the Year-End Top 10/8

Another Roddick come back thread. This time winning a Davis cup match at home against Spain w/0 Nadal, on an insanely fast service, is suppose to propel Roddick to new heights. The guy has not made it past the quarters in a Slam for a year, he has had a great career, but it is the beginning of the end, the USA needs new blood.

Roddick has grown on me over the years. I'd like to see him get another victory of sorts, even if it is the diminished Davis Cup.

I doubt it. Would like it to happen though, Roddick's always been a favourite of mine seems like a great guy.
