If you knew your favorite player can win just one more slam...

Imagine this situation: you know your favorite player can win just one more slam in his career, and you can choose what slam that will be. And you know 100% that he will win the slam you choose. What will be your choice then?
I'm a Nadal fan and I would choose RG without any doubt. I really want him to win another AO or Wimbledon, but if I had to choose just one slam then it would still be RG. This tournament always was special for Nadal, and even now it is more important for him than any other tournament. Can't trade it for anything else.

It is not even close.

For Nadal, I think AO. Wimbledon or an 11th RG would both be great (heck, I'm not picky, USO too) but the double career major is just too cool.

Fed, really don't care. They could declare Dubai a slam next season and give him that. 20 is unreal however it comes.

Andy, Wimbledon. But also would like to see him finally grab an AO crown.

Then all my other slamless favorites can have whatever.

For the guys that've been-there-done that... I think whatever's most 'lacking' or seems unlikely right now

Federer - French
Nadal - Wimbledon (more meaningful given his slump there than AO, where despite 'just' the 1 title, he has less to prove imo)
Djokovic - French

(Granted, the fan bases of the above being such Great Greedy Guts would bemoan if they're fave could win where they're most vulnerable, they should win more Slams still elsewhere:))

For other multiple champions, a combo of what they're missing and where they have something to prove

Murray - French
Wawrinka - Wimbledon

For everyone else... validation on whatever they're most suited to or have their best shot on

Dimitrov - Wimbledon
Del Potro - US
Ferrer - French
M. Zverev - Australian
Thiem - French
Cilic - Wimbledon
Raonic - Wimbledon
Goffin - Australian
Nishikori - Australian

Being Federer’s fan, RG beating Nadal in the final.
If I were Nadal fan, between AO or la Undécima in RG.

One "more" Slam? Bit presumptuous to assume they even have a Slam in the first place ;)

Monfils: French Open, no doubt

Murray: Wimbledon, Federer: US Open, Djokovic: US Open, Nadal: Australian Open

Sharapova over Serena for Wimbledon. The circle would be complete. First ever slam a win against Screamena at Wimbledon... last slam win a victory over her arch rival.

A lot of Fed fans going with US or French understandably, but if much rather it be at SW19. It's the pinnacle of the sport. 9 grand slam titles there. Would just be the best way for Fed to go out as his final slam, holding that glorious golden trophy aloft on the green grounds.

Having been a Roddick fan since early 2003 and having seen him spend 9 years chasing that ghost of a 2nd Slam victory

With Fed I’d love for him to get an extra RG or USO but it would be most fitting for his first and last GS to be at Wimbledon so that’s my pick.

For Fed, RG or USO.

He's got the record at Wimbledon and won it without dropping a set, doesn't need another one anymore.

Well, the question is if you had to choose one. What would it be-RG or USO?

Both has its merits. I'm actually leaning towards USO because it's been really annoying how Fed couldn't win it since 2014 where he's had ample opportunities to take the crown. RG would get him the double career slam, which takes out any more hype on it when it comes to VB and certain Djokovic fans.

Djokovic - 2nd RG title. A career slam, a double career slam, a non calender year grand slam. I would put him over Sampras with that if the gap is just one between them, should Djokovic get a second RG.

As a Fed fan, I am switching my pick. I originally wanted him to win the FO. But a 6th USO title to break a tie with Sampras would be even better. 8 Wimbledon’s and 6 USO titles would be 2 tough records to break.

Nothing compares to Wimb. I will always pick that one for Fed until he retires.
