If you wanted one player to come out of retirement, who would it be?

Roddick. Would have a Wimbledon to his name if only he stayed on tour one year longer.
Roddick was physically completely spent. He could have lingered in the top 100 with a limited schedule but he wasn't coming back to the top 10 in my opinion.

Peak Roddick would have bagged multiple Wimbledons in the last few years, that I'd agree.

Certainly in is 2004/2009 form he could have. It would be tough against 17 Federer or 18 Djokovic though.

can we also send (bturally throw) one into retirement at the same time ?
(i mean... for the sake of preserving the delicate balance of the universe, of course)

But if you brutally throw fedr into retirement, you’d have to also brutally throw the nedl into retirement, and then you’d have nothing to post about!

Think, man!

Rod laver, having watched team world lose, year after year in the tournament named after him, "Enough is enough; gimme that" and snatches the racquet off of Kyrgios. He goes on to win his singles match, orchestrating team world to a win and showing these millennial Europeans who the real GOAT is.
Hahaha! That was brilliant, thanks for the laugh! :)
