*Update* Following up on this previous post - https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/ind...cant-thrive-and-normal-tennis-resumes.603301/ - We have found success with a brand of ball manufactured in Thailand, they have no titanium in them. Until more data over a longer period in terms in sales and revenue have been obtained, We're keeping these exclusive to our club as they are unmarked/non-branded.
If you wish to oppose any of what is written here, please provide the specifics rather than just trying to re-frame and trim off what is written in a attempt to change and confuse the context to what suits you (No mental illness Gaslighting please).

You as a player are not going crazy. Its just slowed down, weighted ball characteristics being exploited causing all of this problem.
This is for those who wish to say to major companies that "we want normal tennis again."
Please sign so hopefully in the next couple of years, business and sales will boom with the manufacturing change.

Summary:
In the recreational tennis world the term "Pusher" has been the common term for an epidemic that has ruined the game since balls were weighted and slowed down to extend rallies for big serving ATP players. While the experiment and eventual transition to slowed down, weighted balls was great for the highest level of power hitting tennis, the lower recreational levels suffered considerable and ongoing losses in participation numbers due to pushers exploiting the ball characteristics. Enough to ruin tennis clubs. This petition is about having tennis balls livelier, faster and higher bouncing again to discourage point play that is deemed to ruin the spirit of the game and hurt business.
Why it is a problem is due to the situation of players wanting to play enjoyable tennis only to find themselves constantly bending over against pushers going out of their way to make the game boring. A common correlation that is also noted by normal players is that pushers are also known to lie and make incorrect line calls (called "Hooking").
The issue isn't just in the realms of morality. It is also in the realms of business. Pusher's are the leading cause of starting out players quitting. A typical scenario would be the starting out player doing coaching lessons in groups and/or privates, developing their game to compete, only to go against a pusher, constantly scoop up low balls (from either the pusher's deliberate soft serves, drop shots or ground strokes), damaging their racquets and risking injury unnecessarily through scraping and bending over constantly only to then run back for lobs the majority of the time. That "normal" player may persevere for up to a few months but is now at risk of either leaving the club in the hope to find more enjoyable matches, cease competing or just quitting outright due to thinking this is all that they're going do all day/night (bending over). Many starting out players feel that this is not tennis.
While the finger for pushing behaviour could easily be pointed at a mix of factors such as; Age Demographics, Cluster B Personality Disorder/Mental illness and Low Socio-Economics, the most effective solution to boost recreational tennis business again and discourage this form of play is as follows: Speed up the balls (including higher bounce) across the world for recreational level and the problem will fix itself as technique is now required and rewarded. The pushers will either have to improve their technique and socialise with the majority of the normal players or lose matches in the traditional way.
At the end of the day, there are less tennis players playing because of the current status quo. For every one pusher enjoying what they do, they can easily put off dozens of players per club wanting to play or get back into it. That's a lot of money lost in the form of revenue, racquet and shoe sales etc. It's bad for business. Players at risk of quitting are unlikely to accept the offering of regular coaching lessons when their small, local competition has pushers forcing players to constantly bend over. Please sign this petition so tennis can truly grow again.
