Hopefully, she can continue playing well despite the racket change. There have been too many players that went downhill after chasing a payday with racket endorsement deals. But at the same time shame on Prince for not being able to sponsor her.

I don't think it's thick beem. If you expand the photo you can see the shot is blurry. Actual racquet is half the thickness. Also can 100% read Tecnifibre on the throat. Good for her. Good for Tecnifibre. I agree with the comment above that her AND Med is a coup.

When I see her playing a tournament and there is a logo stenciled on the strings then that will be the definitive evidence that Iga is under contract with TF. Otherwise, it's possible that she is merely play testing TF racquets.

Wow,, Bargain of the century. just WOW. Iga will be #1 in the world soon and technifiber will have the New #1 in WTA. That should help their sales. Albeit, mostly in europe, it should still help a great deal. Their sales in USA is dismal at best.

i hope she likes it. if she does poorly with racket, she will lose all her confidence. Can you guys call Technifiber and find out how much they are paying her per year ?? I am very surprised that Wilson or Head couldn't match or better the offer.

The MadLad doesn’t hit with enough topspin to do well on clay and slow hard courts - he hardly gets any significant points in the first half of every year. So, it will be a challenge for him to get to #1. Iga looks like she will make it to the top though as she hits with more spin than most WTA players.

Barty made a big mistake not playing this season. When you're a pro player, you got to strike when the iron is hot, because it's not always going to be there for her.

Is Ostapenko a one trick pony though? SF in Wimbledon, Finals at Premiers, and she's only 23. At this point her career is better than careers of some other fellow GS champions.

White looks always bigger. I wonder why couldnt it be just a prince? In the past Prince made thicker beams franes too.

Not for the new one, but her old stick was a near stock/stock TT290. There were conflicting posts on different threads about her sticks having a little lead under the bumper vs being bone stock, but it doesn’t seem to have been a significant amount. The TT290 has an SW of 324 stock, so I doubt she was adding too much lead on the head.
