I have been on a whirlwind of racquet trying for a long time. Almost to the point that I should seek help. One of my favorite frames has always been the Pure Control and Pure Storm Tour series particularly the swirly Control. One a whim I tried the Ignite, thinking I would not like the swingweight though. Surprisingly I really took a liking to it. This is one of the racquets that has an updated old school feel to it and a log type static weight but the ports seem to help it through the air. I tend to fend off the technology updates as gimmicks. My complain with the port series has always been a "blah" so to speak ball feel but I felt with the Ignite they were able to capture ball cupping which is my favorite feature. The one I have now has PSGD 16 in it which is an average string that has nothing about it that really stands out. Next up string my second one with natural gut mains and a poly cross and see what happens.
