That's great! I'll take my gear and contact you when I arrive! BTW, I see from your signature that your're using the new KPS88. I've been playing with stock K90s for the last 1 1/2 year and am really happy with them... however I'm curious about the KPS88 and if it's better enough (for me, playing mostly on clay) to justify a change, guess I'll have to test a demo soon.

Awesome man...I am indeed using the k88 and k90 still lol. Def. demo that frame, it may change your game...hopefully for the better lol

Thanks Mario! Your're a very good player... very consistent, excelent footwork! Now I'm looking forward to visiting Schaumburg again.

hey guys (and possibly ladies) I am pretty new to Chicago and just started playing tennis again...

I am looking for hitting partners...I have been playing Chitown Tennis league but need to get out for fun and not stats to find a new stick...I am still playing with Donnay Pro Ones and think I am missing out...

I am around a 3-3.5...I used to play 4.0 or better but after 7 years of not really touching a racket things change.

hey guys, something off-topic.

I am looking for a good tennis club to play at consistently with good coaching and lessons. Two clubs I am considering are the Forest View Racquet Club and Midtown Athletic Club near Arlington Heights. Do you guys have any experiences with these clubs?

the midtown in downtown is soo sick so i am sure the one in Arlington must be somewhat good. i went there for a college tournament a few months ago.

Both are nice clubs, but I would recommend Midtown in Palatine. It seems to have a higher level of competition than Forest View; Forest View seems to be the old-man Sunday morning club hangout, whereas Midtown is much more competitive and has better coaching. I've played at both clubs many times for tournaments. I'm in Wilmette, and there are, in my opinion, even better clubs near me competition-wise: Glenbrook/ Herrmann Academy, Five Seasons Northbrook, and A.C. Nielsen.

Wow, there's actually people in Illinois that play tennis! Haha, jk. I live in Illinois as well, in the NE suburbs. I actually live nearby Schaumburg. My park district took out their courts, shame, but I play at my high school 'cause there's always people to hit with there.

I'd say I'm about at the 3.0-3.5 level, but I haven't hit the courts for two weeks. I can be inconsistent at times. I recently hit last night and I'm a bit rusty. I played mainly doubles for my school - two years on JV and my senior year on varsity. I prefer singles.

I would love to play against anyone in the Chicago area. I just graduated high school and was an all-conference player and captain, probably around 4.5 strength

I'm down close to St. Louis, in Madison County in Illinois. I love to hit on on the Edwardsville courts, send me a message if you guys ever want a hitting partner. I've only been playing for a year now so I haven't quite mastered a lot of things yet, but tennis takes time. :)

Anyone near the DeKalb area? I'm here until the middle of September and have been out at Kishwaukee Park but couldn't really find anyone. Don't care what level as long as you can return a heavy topspin. I just haven't hit since I've been here and miss it.

I live in Elgin which is 15miles away from Dekalb. But Kishwaukee Park is in Woodstock, IL which is also 15mi away. So if you find some courts on somewhere close to Rt.47 or Randall Rd please let me know. I can only play on weekends in the early morning.

Ya, I am in the Suburbs too. I am near Barrington. It sounds like some of you are near me actually. That shows you how small our world truly is.

I got to try that Pioneer Park that is actually allmost as close as the ones I play next to the Alexian Hospital on Biesterfield Rd :)

I just moved to the Naperville area and I haven't gotten to play in over 10 months. Last time I checked I was 4.0-4.5, if anybody interested in playing, level doesn't matter, shoot me a message.

Naperville tennis is very strong. Naperville Central, North, Nequoa, all of those high schools have very good, dominant teams. I'm sure some of the team players are 4.0-4.5 level.

I just wanted to confirm the address for Pioneer Park.

410 N. Arlington Heights Road

It's about an hour away from me, but I don't mind making the drive at all. Anyone else going to be there this week? I can show up in the early afternoons to evenings.
