I'm a professional tennis player. Ask me anything!

Tofu does not seem to be of the firm variety

Awesome going! Anyone knows what stick JJ is using? No stencil either so I don't think he has sponsorship at the moment (which should change soon, surely). He mentioned PD+ but that was from a few years back. He is using a predominantly red stick now with red strings as well. Looks like some Yonex.

Yup. Yonex. Think it’s the vcore 98. He switched from babolat a few years ago.

LOL the predictable thread has shown up in the Pro Rackets section asking for Jung's specs! Happens whenever someone wins.

Nice match by Jason.
Bit of a wobble first time of serving it out but second time around was clinical..

Playing Steve Johnson next at Delray Beach in a few hours. Got through to R1 of main draw as an alternate. Best of luck!

Putting the college experience aside, do you think college tennis helped your development for the tour, or if you could do it again, would you choose to train at an academy or with a pro coach instead?

2 questions......

Will you ever win a slam or are you just spinning your wheels
and wasting everyone's time?

Can you get me Alize Lim's phone number?

questions asked here are deja vu of how i felt after sending santa my wish list,... year after year.

Why continue to add comments and questions at this thread?
Jason has not replied the last 3 years here because appearantly he is much to busy training and playing tournaments, or he may indeed have stopped playing professional tennis altogerher.

Questions I agree with you.
But you never know he might check in one day.
I helped him with tiny fraction of his paycheck by watching him on TennisTV, after all :)

General comments and following him here is just a bit of fun ;)

Jason, does the ITF give out silent suspensions and or let star players 'use' especially before grand slams while violating lesser known players to appear 'legitimate'? Who on the ATP is gay?

Like!

I watched most of it.
Strong performance.

He lost thereafter. Always the way in tennis. If you compete then losing its part of the game.

What racquet is Jason using now? Used to be red (Yonex), was Yellow and black (Babolat something or other).
Strings and specs would be great to have but always hard to come by..

He has switched to the new pure aero plus he is using a 41/8 grip , stringing two a match with toroline and poly tour pro @ 54.
Was told the switch was made a week ago!! Super nice guy!!

Good luck tomorrow vs Anderson in NY, gonna be a tough one

Nice to see you in the main draw again
