I suggest you put in your 5 cents instead of asking for 25, like, do you have some interesting observation about some pro's game? What d'ya think of maria's poor midcourt game especially given how good she is on the baseline? Do you know the reason she still can't hit a decent slice?

Devila, I'm sorry but u are not right. Yes Sharapova has strong strokes sometimes made without any thought. Yes, Hewitt has character, good footwork and is consistent. Their games may be boring for some people. But Federer's game is a phantasy, most diversified tennis player I ever saw including old players.

My opinion is, as Grimjack alluded to, whyn't you actually SAY something intelligent and original rather than "I Love Maria".

Sharapova is the most annoying player in the game. Overhyped, overrated, overly loud, one-dimensional. She'll be a top player for a year or two and then fade out, to make more commercials and magazine cover shots...

I like Nadal (the Spanish Pirate) and Roddick (the American Hope and the master blaster server) on the men's side and Davenport (Class act and world-class talent but mentally weak at times), Venus (She's back), Dementieva (great ground strokes, and I can relate to her serving problems) and Sharapova (a ditz off court, she does have a nice game) on the women's side.

My least favorite male players are Roger Federer (though I'm warming up to him a little), Haas, Malisse, and Lopez. My least favorite female tennis players are Kournikova (because she's such a ditz and couldn't play tennis to save her life) and Serena (because she's so arrogant and cares more about her fashion career than her tennis).

Thank you somebody said it finally, btw thank you MegacedU for the warm welcome. I'm pretty depressed that Sharapova lost but I hope Mauresmo can hold on: I can't stand Davenport, If only Clijsters was still here since Sharapova is out.

What year are you?

I will be a Junior, I just got into PLAYING (not watching- I've been a fan for a while) I don't expect to have a big future, just to meet people and have a good time, Actually starting to play it has made me love the sport even more. I'd call it a healthy obsession!

Fave female: JHH, Hingis, and Davenport
JHH: cause she's just so versatile, and i admire anybody with a sweet one hander.
Hingis: cause she took mediocre groundstrokes and pulverized her opponents with strategy and downright tennis court feel.
Davenport: cause she's a class act, albeit she's frustrating to root for when her confidence disappears.

Fave Male: Sampras, Fed, Guga.
Sampras: Hugely effective serve, RUNNING FOREHAND, demeanor on the court , and just quality of character.
Fed: He's just got game, i root against him simply so sampras will remain the best of all time. But none the less he doesn't have a huge single stroke, but the balance is supreme.

Least Fave Male: AA, ARod, Hewitt, Rios
AA: If you like sampras fanatically, you simply cannot like AA. I fall into this category. Don't like his game at all. All that talk about him being the the best simply because he fluked when Andreï Medvedev decided to sleep for the last three sets in their final.
ARod: reminds me of a new AA, but instead of big groundies, he's got a big serve.
Hewitt/Rios: Horribly despicable personalities.

Least Fave Female: Sharapova, Williamses, Seles (pretty much any woman who can't play without shrieking.) Also Kournikova since she was all T&A but no game.
Williamses: their absolute lack of respect for their opponents. There's confidence but when Serena said that Craybas simply needed to get the ball in the entire match for her to win is just aggrivating when she simply got outplayed.
Seles: simply because she was such the screamer.

Favorite Female:
Lindsay Davenport: She has the best serve and baseline game around. Her groundstrokes are absolutely amazing and I love a lethal two-handed backhand.

Favrotie Male:
Andre Agassi: He has the best returns in the game and the best two-handed backhand I have ever seen on the men's tour. He is amazing just because he is still able to contend with the top players at 35.

Least Favorite Female:
Serena Williams: She is way too arrogant for her own good. She has too many other things going on in her life and she needs to focus on getting back on top instead of what her next outfit is going to look like.

Least Favorite Male:
Roger Federer: He is a good player but cocky as all get out. He is getting old and someone needs to change the way the men's tour is going right now. I would like to see Roddick, Safin or Nadal take him out.
