This is long time ago and i still remember this. (when i was 8, i start playing tennis at 6 for fun. Now i'm 15)

Just you know my English is bad cus this is my secound langues. If you see bad grammer and word that had mistake plz reply.

--------------------------------

My coach used to say this.

"It doesn't matter how long you hit the balls long time. That doesn't make better tennis."

I though it was not ture, so i said to my coach "I saw many little kids play tennis and they are good, cuz i saw they're playing lone time and they go to tournaments too."

And now he said this offten "What the heck you thinking? What do you think the ball hit the ball well give you going to take lessons? Understanding the principles and lessons received, and you have to learnd them and you have to be used to it. That's the lesson of time and what is coach for it. Don't you think you're wasting money and time?."

I think that is ture but i get mad about that. It is me and i want to improve my tennis. But affter all of this i get shy about that.

The lesson get used to it and i saw my self that i'm just hitting the ball to get over it. Also i was hitting hard.

My coach said "The balls I'm throwing to you and if you hit like that then the ball machine will be better for you."

So now when i go out with my tennis coach , i'm trying to get nervous and i think that balls is the macth ball on the tournament.

Affter take shower and i feel that difference between those two.

I'm going to be honest. That didn't make any sense. I couldn't even really understand the jist of what you were saying. The end really through me off. What's your first language? If it's French (I'm guessng since you're from Canada) try it in French and I'll do my best to translate. I'm not fluent or anything but I could get by if I needed to

Yeah. I can also translate it with software. Give us your original language in english and then type this again in that language. I should be able to translate it.

He's saying practicing and perfecting your strokes without gaining match experience and learning how to win is not enough, so now when he practices he approaches it mentally as if he's preparing for a match.

point 1. No matter how you long you playing tennis, it will not make you better as world class player.

point 2. If you taking lessons do not just hitting the ball over the net, think the fundamental of what you hitting with. (Forehand, backhand acts..) Get used to it.

point 3. Give some slice, topspins, flats when you're taking lesson.

Yea, I think he also made a point of "playing each ball like it's match point". Purposely shaking his own nerves puts him in the best mindset for playing. McEnroe played best when he was boinked off. There's a mindset that we play best in and we all ought to try to find what it is... unless you're my opponent.
