Impressions of the Reebok Upset DMX

Comfort:
Felt comfort right out of the box w/ almost no "break-in" time. The shoe is comfortable but is a little wide in the forefoot. If I were to buy again, I'd think about going a half size smaller. Wearing thick socks also helped the shoes feel more snug. They feel more cushioned than the Barricade II's, which, while helping to absorb shock, also slightly decrease the "low-to-the-ground" feel. Cushioning is probably close to the NB 1001's.

Foot Support/Stability:
I felt that support and stability could be better in the shoe, but this may have been caused by the sizing. Since I started wearing thicker socks w/ these shoes, it's gotten better. The outsoles also felt clunky when moving around the court, so it does take getting used to. I thought the ankle support was good.

Durability:
The Upset DMX outsole is thick, no noticeable wear since I've started wearing them. Durability seems better than any of the other "warranty shoes" I've tried (Barricade II, III, and Resolves).
Toe durabilty is great w/ the reinforced toe guard. As a toe-dragger, this feature is highly appreciated.

Traction:
I play exclusively on hard courts, and these shoes have good traction, whether I'm moving side-to-side or transitioning up to net. It grips pretty well even for the firm outsole, and I've only experienced slippage a few times.

Weight:
The Upsets felt a bit clunky on the courts, a bit heavier than I would have liked. I don't move as well in these as I do the Barricade II's or Breathe Frees.

Overall:
Decent looking shoe, good durability, great for practicing. For matches, I'd prefer something more snug and low to the ground for quicker response and feedback.
