Improving Lateral Movement

Thanks to Ano, Tricky, Chess, Kevin T, Rickson etc, I am getting in decent shape. Anyhow while I am fairly fast (for my age) around the court, I am pretty disappointed in my lateral movement on the tennis court and even in running drills compared to going forward and backward etc. I wanted to improve my movement because speed is a huge part of my game and I think my lateral movement sucks. So if there were any footwork drill, weight drills, sprint drills(suicides maybe???).
 
What my coach has us do is do suicide drills, where after every 10 suicides you change.

Ex. 10 straight sprint
10 shuffle (remember to not click your heels and stay low)
10 karaoke
10 backpedal

If you incorporate that routine, along with some ladder work, you should be quicker around the court. Kangaroo jumps would help too. Stand on the baseline and, while keeping your feet together, stand so your feet are parallel to the line. Then jump from one side of the line to the other. That really helps with lateral power and movement. Hope this helps.
