Improving the K90?

Given that a newer 90 will be realeased soon i thought we could highlight possible improvements.
What aspects in the frame do you think can be changed that would better suit your game? - based on playing styles/other racquets. If you have already customised what are your specs?
Those who tried and failed what are reasons why and would like to see to that you can be made to suit you better.

I'll start by saying that it needs a quite high tension to have good spin potential -close to 60 if not higher. However as a baseliner its not entirely efficient (effort) to play with it campared with other more bigger head sizes with open string pattern - mind you i do have the racquet weight at 370, 29cm balance.
So i would like to see an more open string pattern for more spin potential - yes i know its quite open already but on a 95 and higher its different.

i use like 48/50 and i still get really good spin potential. i noticed that i get more spin potential at a lower tension. ill try high tenstion the next time i string my racket to see how it is. i also added lead under the trap door to make the racket more head light and it is serving a whole lot better now.

The head is too wide and makes it sluggish (subjective). I just don't think a 90" is going to work with this mold for me, it's either PS85 or nothing. Many people like them, but I would rather use my Head and Dunlop 90's that have more of an elongated head shape.

I loved this frame. Would still be using it if the swing weight felt like the PS85. Although it is suppose to have a lighter SW than teh 85, it felt a bit heavier.

Other than that, one of thebest frames I've played with.

^^hit with the Asian Version. It is lighter, and feels fairly close to the American version. (perhaps a little flexier)

I wouldn't mind a bit less power from the stick. Also, I have it strung now at 60 lb and I might go even higher next time to tame that power a bit.

I have no idea how could this be used with the string job in 40s...I guess there is only one what to try it!

NOO DONT LOOSE WEIGHTT lol
i love the weight it gives me alot of control lol
but lol idk you can remove a little weight i guess lol
but keep the 90 inch XD

How about just having their racquets actually MATCH their specs?

340g / 12 pts HL would be perfect.

Unfortunately, you get anywhere from 330 to 350 grams and 7-12 points HL with their stock frames.

Otherwise, leave the racquet alone, it's perfect as is.

increase beam width 1mm and change the cross spacing

I about projectile vomited when I read this post!!!!! I already hate the aerogel 100 we dont need another one from wilson!!!!
K90, simpley perfect!!!

....

I see a candycane and I want to paint it black.
No colors anymore, I want them to turn black.
Tighten up the specs today, and not have to leadd the rack.
It's easy playing well when all your racquets match.

Hmmmmm

I wanna see it painted black, painted black
Black as night, black as coal
I wanna see Pro Staffs, blotted out from the sky
I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black
Yeah

Black is so boring, unless it's metallic glossy black with flecks of iridescent color or metal in it. That would be cool.

But, I'd take even matte black over the current paint job.

everyone has their opinion on what is perfect. i'd also decrease headsize and stiffness & increase weight while im at it.

I don't think the K90 needs to be changed. It's a classic ProStaff thin beam mold through and through. Having owned it and still have a pair of PS85s at home I think the K90 is quite an improvement over the 85 in terms of slightly larger sweetspot and slightly more forgiving response. If a lower SW is needed then my current PSL in stock form is worth a hit and definitely less demanding on the deceleration portion of stroke mechanics.
