I've been good so far, I did purchased a new gym bag and socks from adidas.com when they had 30% off. Has anyone else purchase something that they really don't need? Stay safe everyone.

I already had tons of equipment to last me years of playing, not to mention just hitting at the wall...

Mats Wilander was one of my favorite players and a pro I modeled my game after when I was a teen. Surfing the Bay, I ended up buying an autographed Wilander picture that had been personalized to someone else who had the same name as me, plus a pair of Rossignol F200 Carbons on the cheap. I always wanted those racquets in high school, but nobody sold them where I lived back then. I'm pretty excited to try them out for fun when this fiasco is over.

Yeah, unfortunately I went at a shopping spree just before the quarantine really hit. So now I have a Yonex Vcore Pro97 HD, a Yonex Vcore 95, a Babolat Pure Drive Tour Plus and a Head TGK 237.3... And now I am stuck looking at them till the courts open up again...

sneaky edit ps thingy:Just an observation, both Yonexes(is this even a word) are dead on in their weight(310grams for the Vcore 95 and 320grams for the 97HD). I mean I have heard before from here and other places that their QC is good but damn!!

Me two. 8-B
After hurting myself, a calf forced me to stop a couple months, I have started using Nike Prestiges and I feel so sure not hurt me again that I need a second pair to feel safe. Nothing rational, but I just ordered another pair.

how can you have ten new pairs of tennis shoes? I'm at my all time high with two.
Lol that's what normal people do. I admit I'm far from normal. I have to stop looking at all these emails from tennis warehouse, ******* sports, **************, etc. Seems like the shoes sales are non-stop, and the clearance prices plus coupons bring some insane prices on top shoes like Vaper X, Air Zoom Zero, or Solution Speed FF.

I wanted to try out the Head OS's against my Prince OS, along with the other OS rackets I have. I couldn't pass up another solid Chang Ti 95 for $36.00 to the door.
Know a player who uses an old Head OS from the 80s with Champions Choice. Sick spin. Stated he cannot play with these modern twigs. Personally had to add lead to the iRadical OS.

@Ronaldo , A long time TT member who is a higher level or two over me in skill set finagled a couple of 4-stripe POGs out of me. After trading me some 20+ rackets in a big trade I found it interesting he thought a 4-stripe POG with Ashaway Kevlar x Zyex to be his new racket. He traded me Blades, Yonex VCores, PS97A's, PS97's, etc, etc. He even picked some more 4-stripes off the auction site and had me restring them. So, if a guy who routinely hits with SEC collegiate players thinks the POG OS is a good replacement for the aforementioned including PS 6.1 95s I thought at nearly 66 I should maybe reassess OS rackets. I have been spending a lot of time with 93-95" rackets lately. Right now I am liking the Head LM Rad OS quite a bit. Due to family commitments I am geographically separated from most of my rackets so hopefully this summer sometime I can start swinging the rackets that are on my OS wall. There are way more than I need hanging on that wall. Just before I trekked up north I had just received a Prince Mach 1000 Extender 124" 29". I was looking forward to swinging that thing after restringing it. Unfortunately I could only take about 10 rackets with me and it didn't make the cut:)

My old dubs partner switch to the Mach 1000 over 20 yrs ago. Improved his serve and returns immensely. May inventory my OS racquets while on hiatus.

Just made an impulse purchase. Yonex VCore 98+. Got a nice deal on it, can recoup cost if I don't like it. Will compare to my VCore Pro 97. Looking forward to testing it out.

Picked up a Prince Precision 770 Longbody with natural gut for $19.38. My wife was not pleased. Now I have two sticks that need to be playtested:
  1. Prince Textreme Warrior 107 that finally stripped off the putty and got lead tape installed properly plus the leather grip. At about 340 g strung I think it should join the "fun" hit group. I am imagining the Warrior 107 to be my poorman's Beast Pro 100 LB, well not LB. I am hoping the leather grip will give me some precision that was lacking with the Prince OE Respro grip.
  2. I vaguely hope the Precision 770 LB would play like or better than my TT Warrior OS. Perhaps with the gut string it might give me some magic. Or at least as well as the Michael Chang Graphite OS.
I am so ready to fall in love again. But seems I often fell head over heel over "cheap dates" easier than any fancy pretty new sticks. Warrior 107 looks pretty but only cost me about $40. Though the dull silver paint job on the Precision does not excite me. But you never know when the ball starts flying... When the balls start flying..

Prince Precision Graphite OS (107) is a sweet stick, damped, controlled. May re-string a pr while homebound
