I have only liked two volkl frames. One was the c10 pro tour. I just got number 2 today, ve 10 mid(2 of them), and loved it. I like their grip shapes but I prefer Head's. I seem to be able to naturally get more spin with wilson grips but I am more consistant with rectangular shapes because of the feel.

volkl and head is the best... wilson and babolat is everywhere

Hmmm...could you please clarify? "Everywhere" does not connote good nor bad. In fact, maybe they are everywhere because they are so good?

Can't use volkl because of the grip shape. Which hurts my hand.
Plus c10pro feels like a wet noodle.
My ex coach has like 15+ c10pro's.

I don't understand what's all this fuss about handle shapes? IMO, Volkls have the most comfortable shape and provides great access to switch between FH & BH.

I used to play with a pair of Völkls C10 Pro and I just loved them! They really helped me to improve all aspects of my game during the 3 year period that I used them. Great confort, insane spin (with proper technique) and really good overall. Sadly I cracked both (when I fell and when I threw it on the ground).

Now I own a pair of Fischers Pro Speed (not the magnetic stuff) and they feel quite the same!

Wow, expensive lesson. From what I know, it takes a lot to crack a C10 Pro frame! I've accidentally threw mine when it slipped out of my wet hands during service (very silly as I was playing when it was drizzling). However, it survived with only chipped paint.

That being said, it feels a bit more muted, and feels as if there is more comfort when hitting groundies. No change to power and spin though.

there must be something wrong w/ me...I never even noticed the dif grip on volkl..I change between the C-10 pro Slaz X-1 and instinct xl w/o thought but I am a lowly 4.5..Volkl has always been my fav brand..started w/ a quantum 10...awesome quality and it's nice this forum has a loyal following of Volkl..they are rare to see around town only one store sells them..thank g*d for TW and eb*y

The grip on the Volkl's have never bothered me. I loved the original Tour 10 mid. It had a good feel and flex to it. I've always been a Volkl fan, but I've never found a model that made me put my MW 200G down completely.

I started playing tennis with an rd-7 when a friend of mine gave me his spare for 40 bucks. From ther I moved on the rdx 500 mid. I loved it, but I have recently switched to the Tour 10 VE mid. IMO it's more solid of a stick. They play similar but with the Volkl I felt more control and it's a lot easier to handle. You can really drive the ball. With the rdx, I didn't have the same stability nor control as I do with the VE. It feels too flexible and unstable at times particularly at the net. However, the rdx had a lot more spin potential on kick serves and lops. Overall, I have decided to switch to the Volkl Tour 10 VE permenantly. It's a scapel compares to the rdx mid. Last week, I was on fire with it.

I also use a Prince Diablo Mid. Great frame (spin, power, and control), but it feels too stiff for me right now. Maybe I can string it with a soft multifilament. The Volkl, IMO has right amount of feedback and most importantly it manuevers best out of the three.

Just switched to the Cat 8 VE -- I just couldn't put it down (as I was demoing a Wilson nPro Open). It is all around a very forgiving and comfortable racquet.

I agree - Cat 8 VE is very good stick and comfortable and has good control. The Classic V1 and DNX1 is also pretty good.

Having played (in order) the C9 Pro, the Quantum 10, the C10 Pro, the Catapult 10, the Tour 10 GenII and a bit of the Tour 9 VE, I can say that my favorite Volkl of all time is ... my next one! Hint: DNX 9
