In the last 4 years, Sinner has only lost 2 matches in LESS than 5 sets

Sinner has been quietly building another mind-boggling stat:

2022 Wimbledon: l. Djokovic in 5
2022 US Open: l. Alcaraz in 5
2023 Australian Open: l. Tsitsipas in 5
2023 French Open: l. Altmaier in 5
2023 Wimbledon: l. Djokovic in 3
2023 US Open: l. Zverev in 5
2024 Australian Open: Champion
2024 French Open: l. Alcaraz in 5
2024 Wimbledon: l. Medvedev in 5
2024 US Open: Champion
2025 Australian Open: Champion
2025 French Open: l. Alcaraz in 5
2025 Wimbledon: Champion
2025 US Open: l. Alcaraz in 4
2026 Australian Open: l. Djokovic in 5
2026 French Open: l. Cerundolo in 5

That's 14 of the last 16 Slams. Either won or went the distance.

If you want an even weirder twist to this: in 8 of those 10 losses, he was up 2 sets to 1. And 3 of them had him up 2 sets to 0.

You couldn't script this stuff any better.

Jannik Sinner seems similar to the boxer Frank Bruno. Bruno's record is 45 fights, 40 wins (38 KOs), 5 losses. Bruno had a lot of KO wins, early round KOs, but certainly struggled if he was dragged into the trenches. Bruno was even bullying Lennox Lewis in the early rounds of their fight, but Lewis stopped him in round 7.

Sinner, if I remember right, has not won a match that has lasted beyond 3 hours and 48 minutes in duration.

So does this mean
1. Sinner is so good that its going to take 5 sets to beat him
2. Sinner is mentally weak

* these are the only two options
