Federer ended Nadal's 81 match winning streak on clay courts, he also book ended Djokovic's incredible 43 straight match winning streak
Federer has bagelled Nadal all three surfaces, including two finals. He has bagelled Djokovic in a final. He has also bagelled Murray.
Federer also broke DJokovic's China streak in Shanghai 2014 and YEC streak in 2015 IIRC.
Federer also has 10 titles at 2 different surface venues - Basel on HC and Halle on grass.
I don't think anyone else in open era has this.
First player to win four masters title in a season, in 2005, which Nadal equalled later that very year.
I have Mac winning equivalent - 4 Grand Prix events in 1984.
Borg also in 79
Lendl, Connors would've got 4 each in one season if tour was standardized.
Agassi missed out in 95 with 3. (lost IW to Sampras, didn't focus on post USO events)
If you include slams would it make top 30?for non-slam events, I'd say so.

This is why I say there is no GOAT, all kinds of weird and wacky stuff within different eras.
If you include slams would it make top 30?
good thing because five of Fed’s six YEC titles came without a lossA Christmas tourney where you can lose matches and still win titles? Ahaha.
Dimitrov, Tsitsipas, Zverev are licking their chops.

Hes got negative head to head against 11 players? I would guess most of them are players he only played once or twice at the beggining of his careerOh, so 139 winning, 3 equal and 11 losing?

Those who underestimate the difficulty of Federer's YEC achievement just make themselves look foolish.good thing because five of Fed’s six YEC titles came without a loss
Kuerten is 2-1, and Zverev slightly ahead as well. Think those are all the 11 then together with your list. These are the ones I can think of on top of my head:
Nadal
Djokovic
Thiem
Rafter
Kafelnikov
Hrbaty
Bruguera
Corretja
Enqvist(?)
I think he's near even with Zverev.
I know he's tied with Tpas 2-2 (all in 2019)

I think that in 2002-2019 period he went out in the RR only one time and that was in 2008Federer winning the RR of the WTF from 2002 to 2007...Did not lose a single match in RR play in 27 straight matches against top ten players.

He was still the greatest tiebreak player up to 2019 if I am not mistakenWhat about Fed's TB record. I guess it was best in his prime years..
A Christmas tourney where you can lose matches and still win titles? Ahaha.

Funny, two of them have won it about as many times as they've been in grand slam finals. How simple it must be.A Christmas tourney where you can lose matches and still win titles? Ahaha.

I wonder who is in the list of those 11 players, other than Nole and Rafa, and who are his 3 H2H ties.Has a winning record against 139 players, even record against 3 players, losing record to 11 players.
Amazing record.

grand slam finals bery bery tough in this era, no?Funny, two of them have won it about as many times as they've been in grand slam finals. How simple it must be.
is that a record or a simply statistic?Federer NEVER retired from a match ever as a professional....I don't think this record will ever be broken considering how long and how many matches he played.
He is also the oldest ever world number one so far on record, getting it for the final time in 2018.
but you said that Feddy was the GOAT when he led the GS...This is why I say there is no GOAT, all kinds of weird and wacky stuff within different eras.
That is crazy. We will never get close to seeing that ever repeated again.
He also has 36 straight quarter finals, meaning he made the final 8 for an incredible nine straight years.

it is clear my masterIt's both. Find anyone who has played anywhere close to the range of matches Federer has played and has not retired once.
You haven't been paying fully attention then. I said even though I personally don't believe in GOAT, if someone put a gun to my head and I had to choose, I would go with the general consensus, which is who has the most slams. If you haven't noticed I have said, right now, it would be Nadal since he is ahead on the slam count....I haven't changed my position. If Djokovic equals the slam count, if I have to then choose, it would be him...But, I prefer not to choose, as I know Laver was banned from slams for a lot of his prime years, I also know the AO was not chased after for a long time, I also know that slam count wasn't seen as the be all and end all until Pete came along.
I hope that clears it all up for you.
it is clear my master
So it's the era and not the tier of tournament. Got it.grand slam finals bery bery tough in this era, no?
Or maybe it’s both, no?So it's the era and not the tier of tournament. Got it.
Well, no, but I do agree that slams etc. are bery bery tough lately (no?). Gon' haff to play at least at E- level, no?Or maybe it’s both, no?
TRUE- LOL!Any planet that Nadal is not on I guess.
SLAMS- 2000 RANKING POINTSA Christmas tourney where you can lose matches and still win titles? Ahaha.

These are the two craziest for me:23 consecutive grand slam semis
18 out of 19 grand slam finals
237 consecutive weeks at #1
65 grass winning streak
56 HC winning streak
24 finals winning streak
18-0 (unbeaten) vs top10 in a season - 2004
best 4 year peak : 2004-2007
best 6 year prime: 2004-2009
5 Grand slams at 3 different venues: AO, Wim, USO
5 consecutive at 2 different slams - Wim and USO.
Roggie deserves it. Regardless of era strength it was an amazing achievement. These are the two craziest for me:
18 out of 19 grand slam finals
