Indian Wells 2025 anyone?

The weekend will be completely packed and you can’t go in and out of stadiums easily and watch many matches/players easily. There will be long lines to get into most courts where there is a singles ‘star’ playing even if it is doubles. If you can go during the week, it is a much more pleasant experience. If you go on the weekend, buy a good ticket for Stadium 1 or 2 so that you are guaranteed to watch some good players if it is a struggle to get into other courts. Even practice is packed on the weekend.

Exactly this. The last day of qualifiers was even crowded this year, as was yesterday. Luckily I was in Stadium 1, but I saw that it was already difficult to get onto the outer courts.

If anyone is interested, I know someone with three lower bowl Stadium 1 tickets today and this evening that he can't use and is selling for a substantial discount. PM me and I'll get more details, but I think he'd sell them for $100, or about 20-25% of face value.

If any 4.5 or 5.0 players are in town and are looking for a hit, I can likely help set something up in the Palm Springs area.

it was very crowded yesterday. i spent the majority of the day in Stadium 3 watching men's matches after i saw the big crowds around the practice courts. after the atp matches concluded for the day on Stadium 3, i moved over to Stadium 4 to watch the next two men's matches until the rains arrived causing the last match to get suspended at 4 all in the 3rd set. i've been going to IW for years and have never experienced crowds like this on the first day of the main draw. used to be quite calm during qualies and the early rounds.

Very true. I was wondering if I was attending the middle weekend instead of Day 1.

@ChaellAZ Wow. Small world. I'm in Yuba City. If you're looking for some tennis in Colusa; I have a good friend there that plays a lot; they have a meetup and play at one of the parks in Colusa. If you're in Yuba City PM me or stop by the YC racquet club.

Hey @Dunlop300g We are in Yuba until Wednesday, and weather might hold out, but will send a private message. Even if ya just want to meet for a beer if tennis doesn't work out. Supposed to head out to Farmers in Princeton this afternoon, but gotta see how the day goes.
