No offence but you’ve not included a closing date for the poll which should be prior to the main draw beginning play. People can’t even see who has voted or the tendency of the votes to lean one way or the other. The draw isn’t out for another two days and your post includes nothing about the withdrawals, wildcards or any other info relating to the event.
Maybe it’s just me but members might be better informed about the tournament including the projected paths of the top seeds if posts like this aren’t created until there is far more known closer to the event.
On the other hand, it might not matter to most, so all good.

Given that Hanfmann is playing in the Santiago final tomorrow and that the Indian Wells qualifying draw starts on Monday (? Tuesday?), I imagine there's a very good chance he will withdraw, too.

The qualies will be fun to follow. Nice mix of newbies, guys who usually play Challengers, and a few veterans sprinkled in.

Some familiar (to me) names in the qualies:

Basilashvili Nikoloz (GEO) [133]
Bolt Alex (AUS) [167]
Bonzi Benjamin (FRA) [111]
Buse Ignacio (PER) [63]
Goffin David (BEL) [143]
Hijikata Rinky (AUS) [117]
Jarry Nicolas (CHI) [154]
McDonald Mackenzie (USA) [126]
Nardi Luca (ITA) [135]
O'Connell Christopher (AUS) [127]
Schoolkate Tristan (AUS) [118]
Vukic Aleksandar (AUS) [89]
Ymer Elias (SWE) [174]

Apparently Buse had a recent rankings bump due to the Rio Open, so he still has to go through qualies. Also, is this Ymer's first tournament after the ban? edit: wrong Ymer

Wrong Ymer. Elias was never banned.

Exhibit A of why he shouldn’t arrive 3 days before his first match but let’s see how it goes with the Laykold + Dunlop combo this year

Can't Putin send a special enyoy to transfer Medvedev from Dubai to Indian Wells? This is his boy and one of Russia's biggest sportsman

Alcarazwon can now overtake Djokovic in the H2H (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) while Nadal continues to enjoy positive H2Hs over Alcaraz and Sinner.

Just re-watching last year's final.

Slim chance Jack will dominate, let alone in the final.
But that's why I watch. You never know what's going to happen.

O Jackeo, Jackeo! Wherefore art thou Jackeo?

I'm just finding out the courts have been significantly sped up this season, compared to how the courts have traditionally played. How do we view this change? And does it change anybodies pick for who will win the tournament?
