Wow, all the atp quallifiers won there matches so far today. Thats tough on the racket bracket.

I think Novak will take title.

I was there 2 years ago i think it was when DY beat Lopez in an absolute windstorm. Lopez was pissed and wanking, it was funny.

Rob_C, you gonna be around on Sunday?

Still trying to make it happen, might not know until tmrw/Sat.

PS. Lopez was ranked in the 30s both times DY beat him. He also beat Haas when Haas was #40 at the LA Open.

Up next on Stadium Court ...
R Stepanek (CZE) vs J Del Potro (ARG) - ATP

This draw could turn out to be unfortunate for Delpo because of his 0-2 H2H record against Steps, BUT Juan's got a better match win/loss record so far this season, having won 8 matches to Radek's 5.

I'll go with Delpo on this one, but it's a little hot today and 4PM in the desert might be close to the heat conditions Del suffered in his Delray Beach Final.

Quick, what's the best stream.....anyone?

Delpo breaks in 2 mins, 50 secs - now serving 1-0

woot! love radek, but love juan martin more :)

let this be a harbinger of things to come ...

What???????? I pay big money to have tennis channel & I'm ------!

to tell the truth, I'd rather have the billionaire running things at indian wells to broadcast these round one matches even if he had to not have hawkeye on "all 8 show courts"

as it is, even the ATP isn't showing any matches on their tennistv website until saturday ... which, come to think of it, is why nobody else gets a broadcast until then!

delpo has always these weird patches when he doesnt get 1st serves in at all and then he has patch where he gets all in

5 2nd serves in row to Delpo, pretty disapointting

but need to remember that serve is not coming from him naturally, he worked it good 2008-2009, before it was really average.

Hard work needed again to improve it

Yeah, never great for his height advantage. If he could get to Sod's level, he'd be in good shape; it'd make his comeback that much easier. But bottom line.....he's a winner.

damn delpo had breakpoint to doublebreak lead, his matches are always full of dramatic service games so doublebreak needed...

Oh vey, that's what I'm reduced to too.:) It's weird, in America, one can see any baseballs' team's game, all 162 games if wished. But can't watch a big tennis tournament's first round:(

It's horribly irritating. Not only that but TennisTV always has a blackout in the country where the tournament is being held, because of the broadcasting.

delpo cant hold now, 0-30 -.-

lol ... fail ... you posted that @ 4:25 p.m. BUT it is now 5:00 p.m. and Steps just converted his first BP of the match! :p

which delPotro just took back and is again up a break, 4-3 @ 5:03 p.m.

jjerman ... *where always is heard a discouraging word*

Anyone got a stream for Delpo Stepanek match?

the only stream avail is the stream of consciousness inside the head of the repetitiously critical jjerman, reporting on the stream in his head, which has nothingn whatsoever to do with what is actually happening on the court :p

and THAT we wont be able to see with our eyeballs until ATP decides to start broadcasting on Saturday so everybody else can piggyback on their signal.

sorry abou that :(

Aw that sucks!
thanks though

Somehow JMDP takes first set 6-4. All he does is win (arms held up).

EXACTLY!!! Delpo's mental game is every bit as good as Rafa's and Roger's ... which is why he did something nobody before or since has ever done: Beat both Rafa and Roger in the same Grand Slam! If his body holds up, Delpo will be World No. 1 some day! :)
