A Ivanovic vs B Zahlavova Strycova on stadium 3. I am sure nobody cares on this thread though, unless they want to take a peek at Ana, lol.

Wow... I don't know who I like less, Bartoli or Petkovic :?

IOW, whichever one loses, you'll be happy! ;)
oh my ... what happened to Tomic?! :o

I thought there would be a link as well on LSH for the Ana match but does not look like it. Not sure about other livestream links. Strange.

Benneteau has started well against Melzer.

Is fromsport or livescorehunter working for anyone? I can't get the sites to load.

Harrison is all over GGL's second serves!

His returns are what is keeping him ahead in this match

Harrison negative additude takes his best chances away! If he can fix that...then he can become something! And good thing he broke again to take the lead!

Harrison's forehand is great sometimes but the fella couldn't spell "point construction" even if his life depended on it.

It's a judgement call and I would say that 80% of the umpires would've done the same. All Americans have a way of not accepting something 50/50 going against them

The serve came off of the top of the strings of GGL's racket after he had made A FULL STRETCH and had a swing at the ball.

If that's not Harrison's point then we have to bring out the shotgun and torpedo the rulebook and in the process, ourselves too.

I agree with you actually.

I'm just stating that most of the umpires out there would make the same call. That's pretty much the standard in those cases, giving the reciever the benefit of the doubt.

Not at all.

This is the first time I've seen an umpire make replay the point after the returner convincingly hits the ball in the process of retrivieing the serve.

Had I been Harrison, I would've rightfully tried to strangle Miss Umpire there. That call defies everything that a human being has over animals, which is logic and thinking.

My experience tells me that you pretty much just need to get the racquet on the ball to get a replay. Thats where we differ - and yes, I think that most of the Americans have a way of sounding superior and somewhat impolite when talking to the umpires.
