He’s a ****ty weak era Fed sychophant ***** when he plays his Swiss compatriot, but he’s an ATG type Player Stanimal when Djokovic plays him and whom he gets credit for beating (and being beaten by).

Nah.

Fed's gameplay is too strong for Stan with too many weapons. Djoko, not so much.

Federer just wants to shorten the points, thinking 'I only have to hold 2 more times'. Tries ambitious drop shots and winner attempts. Wawa holds.

Yeah. You can really see how pressured and off balance Stan is during a lot of these points. Mixing it up super well and taking Stan's time away.

There's probably some mental issues as well...but Fed's game matches up better against Stan's than Novak's does. But a lot of people here don't seem to understand this for whatever reason.

This is definitely one of the better performance Fed has put against Stan though. Normally their matches are very gritty and lot of errors. But today Fed was very clean.

Federer looked rusty early this year but looks like he is getting himself into form now. Looking forward to the next Fedal clash.

At this point in his career and those late career slams the got him to 20 and getting back to #1 again, I’m positive Federer doesn’t give a **** about Nadal or Djokovic or anyone else. He’s out there having fun.
That's why I said "used to remember". But I used to get really nervous when that happened, that usually meant a tough match was coming. I guess this started to disappear in 2014-15 when Nadal declined.
