Has to be the most anticipated match of the tournament with Sinner unbeaten this year and Alcaraz playing more like the Carlos of last year again.
Will Jannik continue his winning streak or does Carlos put an end to it?
Hopefully will be a hotly contested semi (y)

I chose alcaraz before the tournament started. He is defending champ here and slow courts does allow him to get a win here. God help us if he can't stop sinner because he is the only one I think who can here.

If this was in Miami, would have gone with sinner.

Before the tournament I would have surely bet on Sinner for this matchup but it seems that Alcaraz is back to some serious form. Even beating Zverev, which he probably didn’t want to meet, based on their past and Carlos not being at his best the last couple of month.
But now it seems like a very interesting match, has the potential to extend the epic rivalry. Looking forward to it.

I would vote for epic match, but there's no such option.

Both can get the match and the title. But this harsh bouncy court is designed for Carlos, so I give him the better odds, plus he's playing superb, while Sinner is just having an easy way.

Rn I can’t argue with that win streak. Lehecka was in great form and got absolutely destroyed. Will be tougher Vs Raz but I think Sinner still takes it
Lehecka, lol. Who is he? He played a bad match anyway. Alcaraz found his best form and destroyed Zverev, not some Lehecka. This court suits him better.

He is outside top 10 player. Not a great player. You are right. Alcaraz had more impressive win. Sinner's was good too.

Alcaraz always has impressive wins. But he’s playing a grand slam winner and a guy on 19 matches. Who hardly gets broken these days. He only got broken twice in Rotterdam and 2 times leading up to AO final. His serve is a real weapon. And Sinner nearly took the first set in their encounter last year at Wells and he’s a 2.0 player of that version last year while Alcaraz is more or less the same

He’s playing against the best hard courter in the world. Sinner in two if he serves over 60%. Sinner in 3 if he serves 50-60%

Grunty is back in top form, don't see him dropping this one. Especially with Sinner's seemingly banged up elbow (NEVER saw him play with a sleeve...)

But as usual, I'd love to be wrong.

Also noteworthy is that their h2h, currently sitting at 4-4, has proceeded at an even pace of 2 wins each. Ratz took the first two, then two for Sinner, two for Ratz, and the last two for Sinner. No one has been able to get three in a row...

Probably Misha would have given a better fight yesterday.

Watched the match today. Zvev had nothing to hurt Alcaraz. And Carlitos did his job, actually didn't see anything exceptional from him.
I'd be glad to change my vote. Sinner in 2 sets. 62 64.

Sorry, mate. I'm not mad about that, I'm mad about the cost of the electric toothbrush. Yeah, I don't get the standard no name version. Have to get the latest Oral B, 25% off and it's still a fortune. Awk well.

Let's hope for a good match.

Zed's poor performance yesterday is influencing the poll. Alcaraz played well but Z just rolled over.
Alcaraz habilities are also influencing the poll, we know what he is capable of, he just needs to have a good day and sinner not have his best, if they are both in top form, i dont have a doubt Carlos has the edge, i still think sinner is the favourite given the current situation, but the more matches you win the Closer It is the Next loss, whereas when youre picking Up form like Alcaraz, youre going in the ascent

I think Sinner’s locked in and his serve and return combo will prove too sturdy for Carlos. Carlos will need to bring his very best serve game to keep the pressure on. I think back to the AO where Alcaraz showed glimpses of insane level and then hit the wall against Zverev, and I can’t help but feel something similar may happen here.

Mostly hoping both guys play well — should be a real spectacle!

Sinner in 3 close sets. On form and win streak he has the slight edge. However, alcaraz loves these courts and starting to get his old swagger back. This will be close and wouldn’t be surprised if Carlos wins.

Carlos form looks promising just in time for clay season where he likely will be favourite for most events on clay. I also expect sinner to do better on clay too.

This should be a cracker and looking forward to it!

We don't have any idea of their peaks. They are not finished products yet. Given current forms, more things need to happen (bolded) for an Alcaraz win than otherwise. So poll results look odd and Zed is to blame for that, was my opinion.

We have an idea of their peaks Up till this point, i agree just on form sinner has more chances, but its not like Alcaraz needs to have the day of his life to win, that was my point

Nah, Alcaraz looked pretty exceptional. He hasn't played this consistently well in a long time. Zverev was a little off but there was nothing he could have done against Alcaraz playing at that level.

Interesting how the poll results changed. Earlier today Alcaraz had a huge lead.

Anyway, hope Sinner wins.
I guess because it’s played earlier in the day where it’s less windy. I think Sinner will take advantage of Alcaraz’s serve which is still a weakness of his

People don’t seem to realize that Alcaraz’s serve is not a weapon. It’s a weak point in his game that Sinner can take advantage of. Also Sinner dominates him in the backhand to backhand exchanges

I really don't know, generally I like Carlos a bit more on these courts but Sinner has the better form this year. I'll go with the Italian in 3 close sets
